I gave one star, and that's for the few employees that really care! I have a family member there and the care in that facility is horrible! Do your research before letting your loved one go there. It should not matter if they have medi-cal or private insurance. Our loved ones should be well taken care of with dignity and respect as they would want there family members taken care of! Shame on you! The medical board or who ever over sees these seniors care needs to step in and check this place out!

The mother of my god son is currently here and she’s doing just fine. All her needs are met in a timely manner. She is able to enjoy the activity room and enjoy the sun in their patio. It is a small facility yet everyone treats each other like family. The staff is very professional and understanding, I see her staying here for a while and I’m happy to know she’ll be okay :)

Highly recommend this skilled nursing facility for your loved ones. Although the area it is located in is a little run down, the facility itself is a hidden gem. The staff at Bella Vista took wonderful care of my mother making sure all her needs were met. They also keep the facility extremely clean and there were no smells like many skilled nursing facilities unfortunately do. Kim the case manager was super responsive with questions we had regarding my mom and her care. She went above and beyond in trying to take care of our housing situation with my mom. My mom was sort of an odd case where she wasn't quite long term but definitely could not go back to her larger assisted living home so Kim helped us sort through things withe social worker. The activities coordinator was so very kind and tried to help my mother get involved (even playing card games with the residents) to keep her active and engaged. The nursing staff alomg with the PT/OT team were wonderful and made sure my mom was clean, taken care of, and pushing her just enough to help her get stronger. Looks can be deceiving as the building is older but inside the building it provided so much comfort, healing, and a safe place for my mother to try and thrive after a tough challenge with her health. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Healthcare Center of Bella Vista

Spent couple of months in bella vista, staff was OK. Seems like your treated better if you speak Spanish .food wasn't to good & they're constantly losing your laundry. Not all Nurses are bad some are awesome. It's too bad how much better treatment you receive if you can speak spanish. Nurses took forever to respond to emergency call light in room. I personally felt discrimination, too bad!

My wife has been in two other facilities prior to this one and they were far better staffed and much more attentive to the needs of the patient! The food here is hospital grade food as in the others it wasn't! There are a few staff members that are quite rude, but, others are very kind! I'm not saying not to go there, but, there is better!

My father spent his final 5 days in the god awful care of this retched facility. The nurses are awful, they show no care or empathy towards their patients or the family members of the patient. They yell and scream from across the hall, shouted in my father's face when he was clearly knocked out from pain medicine, and couldn't answer any of my questions reasonably. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies, no one should ever have to endure the incredibley poor-quality of care this facility has to offer. I regret immensely, that my father passed away in this facility, and have only found comfort in knowing that he was most likely unaware of the horrid coniditions. Addisitionally, my father was very far gone, he could not eat, move, or even communicate. What was also very upsetting, was the fact that every day I came to visit him, his beard would have food and god only knows what, completely mangled in his hairs. It appeared to me that not a single nurse there was making any effort to clean his face off for him. As I stated before, atrocious treatment, I won't even call tpwhat they did "care".

Was here for four months due to a broken tibia. Most employees were under educated and basically glorified babysitters. Food sucked among so much more. Released me and promised to do follow up with me and guess what, they forgot my number. Sent me home with no primary care physician due to insurance company changes. Two and half days of pain meds, far cry from the 15 days they are supposed to. Took three weeks to get me a wheelchair, still have not approved my physical therapy after two months, oh wait that's the insurance company. the falsified my discharge papers. OMG the list is endless!
