Onshore Therapy-Leann D. Crockett, MSPT

I cannot express in words how delighted and relieved I am to have finally found such a CARING, Enthusiastic, and THOROUGH Physical Therapist as Leann Crockett!! She excitedly and patiently took the time to truly understand what is going on in my body. Her determination to unlock this decade- old mystery made me tear up as I have been bounced around from doctor--to-doctor, from specialist- to -different physical therapists with no answers or results !! I’ve had multiple X-rays and MRI’s and office visits, but not one of the other 9 Doctors/specialists/PT’s who I’ve seen throughout many years of searching for answers/help could figure out or (took the time to try ) what was going on in my body!! It’s been an extremely frustrating number of years all the while my condition is worsening… until today ! I left Leann’s office feeling such HOPE! She actually CARES !! She bubbles with excitement trying to figure out what’s causing my problems … I’m looking forward to working with her, I feel so hopeful that I can finally get some answers and relief !! Many Thanks to Leann and her professional staff for taking such good care of me and it’s only been 1 visit, so far!!

In the past Leann relieved my rotator cuff issue. This time I arrived using a cane due to knee pain caused by arthritis and meniscus damage. After some weeks and doing prescribed exercises, although I will always have some discomfort, I am back to enjoying golf! Leann is very knowledgeable and professional- no painkillers for me! Thank you!

Leann was a fantastic physical therapist . Extremely knowledgeable, warm and supportive! I went in with terrible knee pain and left in a much better condition with videos of the exercises I need to do and exercise bands and orthotics. I can’t recommend her more highly enough!

LeAnn and Devonne are both great therapists, professional and caring. Their help in my recuperating from a fractured wrist with nerve and tendon complications was very helpful. As a team, they listened carefully to my experience, sought multiple solutions,and provided clear and helpful exercises and recovery techniques. Their complimentary focus areas provided a much needed range of treatment. I would also highly recommend Cortney, the massage therapist at Onshore. She is very skilled in deep tissue techniques She identified and released many tight areas of which I wasnt even aware.

Is it possible for someone to actually "enjoy" physical therapy? I didn't think so; but after my 8 weeks of PT at Onshore Therapy in Tavernier, I can answer honestly "yes!" I've had a lot of PT at various clinics in Michigan over the past 12 years, but after injuring my knee in December, I saw a doctor in Tavernier who prescribed PT. After my first visit with Leann, Physical Therapist & owner of Onshore Therapy, I knew I chose the right place. Leann was able to quickly identify my gait problem, muscular weaknesses, and pain level; and she set up a plan for therapy that included strengthening and stretching as well as teaching how each exercise will benefit each issue. Not only is Leann an excellent diagnostician and teacher, she's truly a very kind, compassionate person. I learned so much from her, and I am now pain-free! I also worked with Devhonne, PTA, who is also an excellent teacher. She gave clear instructions on proper techniques and often demonstrated the exercises herself. Devhonne also is a kind, caring, and encouraging therapist, and she always made me feel very comfortable. Lena works in the front office answering phones, scheduling, and greeting patients. She always made me feel so welcome. Lena helped me understand my insurance, deductibles, co-pays, etc. I highly recommend Onshore Therapy. I think you'll be happy you went there. I miss my sessions, but I now have a solid home exercise program that I will continue to follow. I really miss seeing Leann, Devhonne, and Lena. Onshore Therapy is the best! Thank you, Leann! Updated!!!! Leann and Devon just took care of my Mom's physical therapy after a broken leg injury. They were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She already feels so much better, and we are SO grateful for this help. Leann and Devon - THANK YOU! Also, the reception area is also very helpful. Thank you, Amanda! Leann runs a great business here. My Mom recently had a bunionectomy, and they took excellent care of her! When I say "they", I am referring to Devon (PT extraordinaire) and Leann. Awesome office with very knowledgeable PT folks. Would not recommend them more. Thank you so much for helping my Mom gain her full mobility in her foot.

What an AMAZING place! Leann is the BEST physical therapist I have ever been to! Leann improved my range of motion 37°. For the first time in over 10 years I walk PAIN FREE! Leann and Devohnne are very professional physical therapists and extremely knowledgeable .. the atmosphere is clinical yet relaxed. Amanda is available in any way she can help. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. (I had total spinal/cervical fusion 5 years ago.)
