One Nine Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy - La Costa

As a collegiate athlete, I have tried several physical therapists. One Nine was the best PT I have worked with. I was four months post-op from shoulder surgery when I started working with Travis. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and amazing at his job. I made so much improvement and so many gains in just two months of being there. It is a great environment and such a motivating space. I was surrounded by people who helped me get better and closer to my goals each and every day.

My daughter is four month post ACL surgery and she is working with Travis. He has been awesome. The recovery for this injury is long and hard work. She is always excited to go to One Nine and feels like she is being pushed but also supported. He understands her pain, her physical challenges, and her emotional stress well. He is positive and motivating. So happy we found him.

We love One Nine! My son runs high school cross country and track and sees Dr John Bunnell for his sports-related injuries. He has been wonderful for Kian and has helped him get his body back in balance and pain-free--and ready for racing.

I had two surgeries to reconstruct and repair my ACL and meniscus. From day one, One Nine was clear with me what the road to recovery looked like, the milestones I had to hit and how much work was required from myself to get me back to being an athlete. I’m a 28 y/o professional and former college athlete and my time with One Nine, and Travis Hutchinson specifically, has been the highest standard of care I have received thus far. Travis is hands on with his approach to recovery and after working with him for almost a year now I can tell that each session is customized and catered to the athlete’s needs. He knows when to push and he knows when to back off but what separates him from others is that he knows how to make progress for every individual he works with. The rest of the team is a treat to be around as well. Everyone holds themselves to a high standard while fostering a fun environment to get better and improve. That is what makes One Nine unique. I hope I never get hurt again, but if I do I know the first place I’m going to for my recovery.

One Nine is amazing! Our daughter tore her ACL playing soccer in high school. Dave and the team at One Nine were instrumental in her making a full recovery to go back to playing competitive soccer and being stronger than before. Dave’s expertise was invaluable. The atmosphere at One Nine is fantastic and super motivating for the athletes!

Also, the facility is beautiful, clean, and extremely welcoming. They've helped me tremendously with my injury and I recommend them to anyone looking for a physical therapist.

Just visited the new One Nine location in La Costa and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and took great care of me as this was one of my first physical therapy sessions. I would recommend the amazing staff at One Nine to anyone that is looking for a professional, clean and experienced PT office. I will be back!
