I really like Alyssa and Jess class. I have worked with their studio for past 2 years! Super friendly stuff, very professional knowledge guide me through physical therapy and Pilates. I think the special about the studio is they are teaching Pilates via a doctor/therapist lens. This is very valuable.

This is a review for the Pilates studio which opened in January 2024. The teachers are the PTs from the attached physical therapy office, which really gave me confidence in starting to work out after recovery from a longstanding injury. And the teachers are all consistently excellent -- I believe I've taken classes with all but one and I have never had a class that I didn't come out of feeling amazing. The equipment is extensive -- reformers, chairs, spring board/wall, and all sorts of other devices at the ready -- and kept clean and in great shape. 8 reformers in the studio so classes stay small. It's perfect!!

I enjoy working with Dr. Nicole Jackman, PT, DPT, and I highly recommend her and On the Move Physical Therapy and Pilates facility. I've worked with her for a few months throughout this year. She's an amazing physical therapist. Dr. Jackman is friendly, encouraging, and is very committed to her patients. Her insights and skills have helped me gain strength, movement, and flexibility in my body. Most of all, Dr. Jackman's support and encouragement kept me motivated to move forward with my goals.

Most of my fitness regimen is largely focused on weight training, but I decided to give Alyssa's Pilates class a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I learned a lot of great techniques to help strengthen my core, which I now plan to incorporate into my regular training sessions at the gym. Alyssa has a great energy and does an excellent job of describing the movements with vivid imagery that makes the exercises fun and memorable. The facility was clean and bright. There was plenty of parking in front of the studio as well. It's a great class and I highly recommend it, especially to all the guys like me who've never done Pilates before.

Nicole is one of the best Physical Therapists that I have ever worked with. She has a deep understanding of body mechanics and the ways in which her approach can help patients feel better and return to normal activities. I find Nicole to be a pleasure to be around. She's funny, listens attentively, knows what I'm trying to accomplish to remain active, and has designed therapies that are working to help me gain optimal performance on my road bike.

I can't recommend her enough! After I tore my ACL & had surgery to repair it, Alyssa was my physical therapist. I can not say enough wonderful things about her approach, her knowledge of what was happening in my body (even when I couldn't even describe it), how kind she is & how she got me back up & running quickly & safely. Alyssa has also been an amazing dance teacher for both my kids (especially the one who absolutely REFUSED to go the first day & now can not wait to get to her class!). They adore her & love dance because of her class.

I highly recommend Alyssa as a PT for anyone, and their child. My daughter is a competitive gymnast who has had multiple different injuries. We tried many different physical therapists and Alyssa is the best exponentially. (We have tried other PTs who are closer to us, but we always end up going back to Alyssa). She is very knowledgeable about the sport but thinks through each gymnast's problem based on their body mechanics. She figured out that the way my daughter's body habits was incompatible with certain gymnastics moves. Because she knows gymnastics; she was able to help my daughter figure out alternative skills to compete (Thank goodness for optionals!) Alyssa is very good with my daughter and has her own relationship with her, works with her to understand what the problem is, and to develop the treatment plan. I also appreciate her contributions to the special needs community and is is a role model for my daughter. Even if her practice is a bit far, I would recommend her to anybody for at least an initial consultation.

I have been going to Alyssa for 9 years now and she has successfully conquered every injury I've thrown at her. Not only is she a fantastic physical therapist, she has been like a mother to me who I trust with every aspect of my life. She has great values that have led her to start several special needs programs, and I would not be focusing my life on working in this field if it hadn't been for her. My favorite part of going to her has been the way she incorporates my skills as a ballerina to help me grow stronger, and she makes each exercise challenging in a way that I feel that she truly cares about my health. You will never meet someone more devoted to helping you, both physically and mentally, and I believe you will look forward to seeing her every week like I do.
