I understand wait times are just a part of dr visits, however when I went into my room and had to undress I then had to sit there naked for 30 minutes before the dr came in. This is a horribly vulnerable experience for anyone and to be subjected to that long of a wait time in such conditions doesn’t seem right. That wait time left me feeling so anxious and scared by the time the dr came in and when he was doing the procedure he did not explain what he was doing at all except for saying you will feel a pinch now. He performed several test with no explanation and then left the room only saying I couldn’t have sex for a week no other care instructions. Which when I went home and had discharge including the stuff they use to stop bleeding I was alarmed because I wasn’t even aware that was used and to see objects other than blood in the discharge I initially thought it was pieces of glove. This whole experience was awful for me and I sincerely hope the dr is talked to so that no other patient ever has to experience what I did. After this visit I am not at all likely to recommend your services.

Brandy Drake is an amazing medical professional who shows through her actions how much she truly cares about her patients and all of the staff at the women's clinic are exceptional!

CRUEL...my baby stopped growing at 9 weeks and all the doctor said was "your baby passed, you want a abortion today?"I didn't get to see my baby,or didn't even get the chance to even process that hard news...they just didn't seem to care so HEARTLESS...DONT COME TO THIS OMNI!!Your just a patient not a PERSON once your done your DONE.This was my first baby and this was the hardest thing I went through and the doctors there aren't comforting.

Went in for a follow up for an internally bleeding cyst which has caused me significant pain, along with signs that I may still be bleeding inside and the gyno at the OMNI women's clinic I followed up with told me to see a bone doctor, for what he believed was a torn ligament and that there was no way any of my symptoms could be caused by the bleeding cyst I was told about at the ER. He was smug and seemed like he'd already decided I didn't need to be there the moment he walked into the room i was waiting in. I only saw this joke of a doctor for maybe 5 mins and in that time he downplayed everything I told him and also gaslit me about another diagnosis I'd received from another doctor, because that doctor is "famous" no further comment. He did not offer any form of treatment or management options, and did not offer any kind of testing. He also didn't even know how to refer me to the "bone doctor" he thought I should see for my symptoms of internal bleeding. I would rather die from whatever is going on with me currently than step foot into this office again. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance.

I had called to schedule an appt and was told that I had one scheduled on Wednesday, June 7th. I called to see if there was by chance a cancelation and to get a later time at which I was told that I didn't have an appt scheduled. From the morning I scheduled until the next morning that I called again, I did not receive a confirmation, which was odd. So while on the phone the second time, I ended up scheduling it for Friday, June 9th. A few hours later I receive a confirmation for June 9. Then a few hours later than that it when I receive the confirmation for June 7th. Very frustrating so I had to pick one and I went with Brandy who I have been seeing, but this wasnt the first time that this has happened in scheduling conflicts.

My experience at this particular location was amazing. At other Omni locations, the doctors were careless and did not listen to my personal concerns regarding my health. I live half an hour from the Omni Women’s Clinic in Shafter but make the drive because other locations have subpar doctors at best. Instead of blaming the patient for their health, talk to them about their diagnoses. I was never properly diagnosed with PCOS. Instead, I was brought into a room where I waited nearly an hour and told I do have PCOS symptoms and to just get pregnant or get on birth control. I was not given any other options or information. At the Shafter location, the gynecologist thoroughly explained my treatment options and performed a vaginal exam. She made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns anf answered my questions. I know Omni has a lot of low income patients like myself, so do better in terms of caring for them instead of paying doctors who don’t care.
