I've heard many great things about Olympia and how they offer a bunch of different services and assessments. I came in for a running assessment and was amazed by the resources that they had and all the things that were part of the assessment. During the assessment, they were amazing to talk to and set a great environment to let loose and not be so anxious throughout the whole process. After receiving the analysis, I was able to see things that I need to work on and things I was doing well with
Dr. Melodie is a magician!! I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Olympia Physical Therapy after a rough year on the body. I had PRP injections in my knee, ruptured pectoral tendon, and lower back pain due to a bulging disk. The imbalance in my body also caused my achilles tendon to become inflamed. I started working with Dr. Melodie for my ruptured tendon after working with another physical therapy practice that rotated me from therapist to therapist, and did a lot of icing and electric stimulation, but not a lot of rehabilitation work for half hour sessions. Dr. Melodie works with me one-on-one for an hour which I really like. She has strengthened my pectoral tendon and shoulder, has significantly improved the other impacted areas of my body, and has accelerated my recovery. Dr. Melodie has also educated me as she is incredibly well versed in recovery and medicine. From time to time when other areas of my body are tight or strained she has quick interventions to loosen the impacted areas and get me back on track with my rehab. I've also integrated Olympia's personal training into my recovery program and long term wellness goals. Dr. Melodie is no nonsense when it comes to our sessions (I look forward to working with her for for physical therapy; we are not friends during personal training - lol). But the good thing is that she knows my injury limitations from working with me on the physical therapy side, so she pushes me accordingly. I highly recommend Olympia and Dr. Melodie!
