Odom Rural Health Clinic

Brought a child here for an xray. After waiting for 30 minutes for the xray tech I went to ask if they forgot us. I was then told that she had to drive here from Winona so it would be another 20 minutes. That would've been nice to know from the start.

I never post bad reviews because I am in the service industry and understand that there are always one offs and off days. My family tries to use Odom Rural Health Clinic as little as possible, less than once a year. We justify going back because we go to the doctor so little and it is close to home but each time my husband, daughter, or myself has gone, it is a nightmare. When you call ahead about questions concerning how much the visit will cost, it is never accurate. My daughter had a rash, in which the nurse practitioner barely looked at before prescribing 5 different medications and sent us out the door. I scheduled her 7th grade shots to be done. I had to tell the receptionist what 7th grade shots were and when we get to the appointment, the receptionist informs us that only Medicaid patients can get shots there. That was the last time I will ever use Dr. Odom's office again. Like I said, I am very passive when it comes to service but there is no excuse for the amount o f negligence that goes on in that office. And here we go again. We have not used this office since I posted my last review and now there has been a mix up in names and they are trying to charge us for more appointments. I have been trying to call to notify them of the mistakes but as usual nothing. Maybe this post will get there attention like it did last time. Again, I'm a very patient person but their service and book keeping is ridiculous.

Every time I get a nice pleasant visit no hassles.
