I apologize that this will be a long review. I had a friend go to this location recently after slamming her finger in a doorway. They informed her that she only bruised her finger and would be fine as long as she kept it wrapped. After days of pain, she went to another urgent care to find out she had broken her finger and the length of time that she had gone untreated made her injury worse. Against my better judgment, I visited this location for a severe sore throat. I informed the staff that mono had spread across my college campus and I feared this was the cause. It took them an hour and a half to test me for flu, strep, and covid and while I sat in my treatment room, my eye began to swell. I had been left alone for so long I had to step out of my room to request an ice pack only to be told 15 minutes later that they were out of ice packs and they were on "back order". After testing negative for strep, covid, and flu, my nurse practitioner told me that I should wait two days before testing for mono and that the results would take close to a week. She essentially told me that testing for mono was "pointless". Frustrated that I was not being listened to, I left this location to go to another urgent care not associated with Oshner who tested me for mono within 10 minutes. I called Oshner's customer service number just for all the representatives to be busy and was informed I should leave a voicemail. I love my primary care doctor through Oshner but I will NEVER go to any of their other locations ever again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

3 stars because of how quickly they were able to see me and the receptionist was very kind. Jessie, xray technician, was very horrible. Went it for an xray because of a potentially fractured foot. Jessie repeatedly left me behind, everything felt very rushed, her behavior was as if I’d interrupted her. Glad it was overly quickly though. At the end of the xray I asked if someone could rewrap my foot (it’d been wrapped by a medical assistant at another clinic that referred me to the uptown location), Jessie responded “you can’t wrap it?” To which I said no, I’m not a medical professional and on top of that, the nurse that had done it by previously had someone guide HER through it. Jessie informed me that it wasn’t science, you just wrap it and then said they don’t have “nurses” they have “medical assistants.” Very nasty and rude.

I went in with severe pain in my lower ribs and shoulder. I had also been coughing up blood. I described my symptoms to the doctor, told them how my pain had switched sides over the course of the week, and told them about the blood. The nurse pretty much blew off any idea that it was something serious and told me I just had a muscle strain. She did not recommend blood work, she did not recommend a follow up visit, and I had to push her to give me a chest xray. The next morning I had to go to the emergency room with severe pneumonia, not a muscle strain. If the doctor had recommended I go get blood work, I would’ve known about my high white blood cell count a day earlier, and I could’ve gotten on antibiotics a day earlier. I understand that doctors get stuff wrong sometimes, but the fact that she wouldn’t even entertain the idea that it wasn’t a muscle strain really irks me. The whole staff at the facility was also remarkably short with me, and it felt like they just wanted to get me out as fast as possible. DO BETTER

Made an appointment for 1pm. Arrived at 12:45 and was told there was a 2-hour wait. When I inquired about the appointment, I was told it wasn't an appointment, but a "reservation" that guarantees I'll be seen that day if they're at capacity. However, if they're not at capacity, they take patients on a first-come, first-served basis. When I asked why they wouldn't call me to let me know how late they're running, reception told me that they weren't running late because it wasn't an appointment, it was a "reservation." So, I left, made an actual appointment at In & Out Urgent Care on Claiborne and was seen within the hour. Very disappointed at this absolutely ludicrous policy that defies all logic and reason.

I walked in suffering a dog bite to my hand and bleeding in the lobby. There was only one physician seeing patients that day. I was told it would be a minimum of two hours before anyone could see me. The front desk could not even offer a bandage or gauze pad. I was pointed to the nearby box of facial tissues. I ended up leaving and driving myself to an emergency room. It still took two hours but at least I could get a bandage to stop the bleeding on the top and bottom of my hand. I ended up needing an x-ray to check for non-visible damage and I do not know if the understaffed urgent care could have provided that service. I have been to this urgent care in the past for other services and it always seems understaffed. Show up as early as possible is my only advice for someone looking to come here.

I visited due to severe sinusitis, and even though there were several patients ahead of me, I saw the doctor in a very reasonable time. The staff were all very friendly, and the doctor was extremely thorough and friendly. If I lived here, I would like her to be my GP

I made an “appointment” for my son through the health portal. After we had already started checking in and paying the co-pay, we were told that there was only one physician available and it would be an hour wait. When I asked about my “appointment” time, which is how it reads on the health portal, I was told that was only a “walk-in” time. I was offered the option to see someone over video. What!?!? I made an APPOINTMENT, my kid is sick, I didn’t drive here to see someone over video. I could have done that at home and not have drug my kid out of the house. Seriously disappointed in the misinformation and misdirection on the portal and mismanagement of the clinic.

I don't really take the time to write reviews but I was so impressed by the level of service that I felt compelled to let everyone know that this location really does a good job at taking care of you. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room or the patient room. Each person I interacted with was kind yet efficient. Within one hour I had a consult, x-ray, bloodwork, urinalysis, and a Rx. It was the perfect balance of not feeling rushed while not feeling like I was wasting time either.
