OceanView Rehabilitation

I spent 4 months at OceanView Rehabilitation gaining strength in my knees and back with caring, knowledgeable, and attentive therapists and support staff. So thankful and grateful for all that Greg, Dirk, Dennis and Nataliya did for me to make it possible to reach my goals and say a bitter sweet good bye today to on site assistance, because I have reached my goals!

I walked into OceanView Rehabilitation with a level of pain and numbness in my arm that made doing simple tasks like getting dressed, washing dishes, and driving seem like an ordeal. After my consultation with Greg and a few weeks of therapy I feel completely renewed!!! Thank you OceanView Rehabilitation for helping me get back to feeling like myself again!

I have been to Oceanview Rehab 3 times already. Once post op on my hip replacement, once to try and work on my lower back pain (which unfortunately needed surgery) and currently for a hairline knee fracture. Each time I worked with DPT Greg. He is very personable and explains in detail what the problem was and how we would work to correct and strengthen the area involved. The other DPT Kristina has also worked with me occasionally and was very nice and helpful. All of the assistants are friendly and make you feel comfortable when you come in for your appointment. The office is clean and I see the assistants clean each machine after being used. I would definitely recommend this rehab center to young and seniors.

I owe a big percentage of my recovery from my spinal surgery to Oceanview Rehabilitation. The physical therapists there are the perfect combination of professionalism and caring. Their friendly disposition makes you feel that you are in a safe space. Yet their drive to truly help their patients' health improve, motivates them to ensure we stay motivated and are doing each exercise safely and with precision. Though their facility is out of my insurance's network and costs extra to be treated there, I believe I am in the best place to properly heal and become whole again.

Words can not describe how great of a rehabilitation place ocean view is! I am an athlete, I had surgery on my knee and They were able to help me come back 3 months earlier than I was supposed too. They are a great team. They make you feel welcomed, they motivate you, they will push you to get better and they care for your well being. I could not ask for a better team to guide me through my rehabilitation journey. 100% recommended. They will not disappoint!!

I'm a new patient (WAS) a potential new patient. Heard good things about this place. Just got back in my car after standing outside ringing bells, calling phone of office and knocking on door. No one ever answered! Needless to say I'm pretty pissed right now. And I find it very strange that not one person came out of the building and no one else was trying to go in the building. Hmph. Very odd. Never heard of such UNprofessionalism. Not to mention the fact I'm in agony and really needed a pt today.

I have been to a few places for rehabilitation in my life for some injuries. This is definitely the best in NYC in my experience! The place is cozy, clean, well lit, which it already gives a nice welcome. Some places I have been look like dark dungeons.. Both Greg and Kristina are excellent PTs, thorough, kind and attentive. Greg’s knowledge of human’s body is really almost fascinating! I have been here in the past for some cervical stenosis issues and now for an injury to my elbow, which Greg and Dennis helped me a lot with. Hands down recommended!

My doctor specifically wanted me to come to Oceanview and work with Greg even though it meant I’d have to drive for a half hour each way for each appointment. I am grateful I followed through. I had torn cartilage in my hip area and also had a tear in my glute muscle and could barely walk. Greg and his staff offered the highest quality of therapy with kindness, care, compassion and a lot of encouragement and got me walking again - with even better posture than before my injury. If you are reading this review because you need physical therapy, make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.
