Ocean Springs Pediatric Therapy Center

My son was a patient here for about a year. He has always been about a year behind in his speech. I always had suspicions that he wasn’t receiving the best care at this facility because his pronunciation and annunciation showed no improvement. The gap between his development and where he should be remained the same even with therapy. He saw a therapist by the name Gay. During our last visit she informed me that my son was being “non compliant” because he wasn’t answering her questions. She informed me that he should take a break for a few months and return when he matured some more. My son is three. He needs speech therapy because he doesn’t know how to answer questions. Thankfully after just a few visits with a new therapist my son’s speech is actually starting to improve. I regret wasting time at this facility because I do not believe the therapists are equipped to actually address speech delays. They play with toys and pictures without actually working on speech.
