OC Sports and Wellness

I was looking for a change in healthcare providers and by coincidence was referred to OC Sports and Wellness by three different people, in the course of about 30 days. I felt the stars were aligning and I should check it out. After the initial consultation and reading everything on the website, I cannot be more pleased that this is the perfect fit for my active lifestyle. In the initial consultation, Dr. Sunshine was more than patient, a good listener and asked all the pertinent questions . In just one week I've already seen extreme responsiveness and a proactive nature from the entire staff. I'm looking forward to getting my VO2 max testing done shortly.

Now in my mid-50’s with a continued desire to train and exercise at a high level and with a focus on health and longevity, Dr. Sunshine has helped me through age-related injuries and with a plan for disease prevention. He’s very personable, takes the time to listen, and will explore new ideas/concepts with me. I appreciate all he does.

I've had many primary care physicians over the years. Was with Kaiser for a while and when I left I found Dr. Sunshine with OC Sports and Wellness. He is the best doctor I've ever had by far. He takes time with me whenever I have anything going on. His staff is incredible. Sandy, his Office Manager is so helpful! She'll bend over backwards to help with anything you need. And they are a DPC, which allows you to get extra care, more time with the doctor, very quick response at any hour, and truly affordable and comprehensive care. Plus, Dr. Sunshine focuses on overall wellness. He isn't quick to prescribe a medication. Instead, he focuses on holistic health, nutrition, and wellness, focusing on the root of any issue, rather than masking issues with drugs. Absolutely outstanding care!

I have been going to OC Sports and Wellness to see Dr. Sunshine for years. From all aspects, it's a great experience. That includes: 1) The technical side of the medical information being communicated to the patient 2) Taking care of the patient by doing great work and 3) The logistics of appointments, bills, insurance, etc. The team at OC Sports and Wellness does an absolutely fabulous job. Cameron is also great at what he does. All of my appointments have been taken in a timely manner (<5 min wait) They have earned my trust and business, and that is why I continue to use them as my primary doctor. I highly recommend OC Sports and Wellness.

I have been going to OC Sports and Wellness for my Biote Hormone Pellet Therapy for well over a year now, and couldn’t be more pleased. Dr Sunshine, and his office manager Sandy are wonderful. So professional and pleasant. The office is very nice and clean. Easy Doctor/patient communication via the “patient portal”. I highly recommend OC Sports & Wellness.

Dr. Sunshine is such a good and caring doctor. Our entire family goes to see him and everyone feels like he likes them the most. Both he and his PA Matt never try to solve our issues with with a pill which is not the norm anymore. I would recommend OC Sports and Wellness to anyone.

I'm still a pretty new patient. Seen Dr. Sunshine officially twice and Dr. Steve Holmes (Nutritionist) on site twice also. I like the fact that Dr. Sunshine did stick his head in to say hi and check in during my visit with Dr. Steve. Dr. Sunshine has also been very thorough with testing to find issues my previous doctor just brushed off. I've had complained about headaches for years and for the first time I've been without headaches in over 2 weeks. No medication - just an adjustment to my diet. Will also send my husband to see this practice.

Having the luxury of a trustworthy medical practice near-by is something many take for granted. Doctor Sunshine and crew at OC Sports and Wellness have been helping my family with their medical needs for over 15 years! A compassionate ear lends effective treatment with minimal wasted effort, time, money, or return visits. Integration with the local pharmacy one building over is fantastic - I often receive a call a prescription is ready to pick up before I even leave the doc's office! On-site X-ray, PT, and other services mean I don't have to waste time traipsing about town looking for odd offices, re-hash prior communication / status, and end up with more family time!
