My husband was sent to Oakhurst PT by his VA doctor. When he got there his PT told him that he needs to stop smoking and had he known that my husband was a smoker he would have had him not smoke for 30 minutes before his appointment so he wouldn't have to smell it. Okay l get it, the small of smoke is nasty! However l don't feel that this kind of discrimination should be allowed in a public establishment. I was a hair dresser for years, l wouldn't dream of ever asking any my clients to alter their life choices before sitting in ny chair. And trust me l had to endure some very challenging time's, but that's all part of working with the public! I mean would a paramedic ask a accident victim to not smoke 30 minutes before he lifted their broken body up to be placed in the ambulance? My husband is a Vietnam War Veteran who suffers with PTSD. Also within the past 6 month's he has lost his only daughter to suicide, he also lost his older brother who served in Vietnam with him, and his sister. Not to mention we also had to put down his therapy dog. That is one heck of a blow for any one person to try to cope with! So yes with all this heartbreak and stress he started up smoking again! I just felt that Oakhurst PT kicked an already down man. One who now refuse to go back to them, and l don't blame him!

Team McLean does an excellent job. Over the few times I’ve been treated they have provided me with comfort and relief. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to do you physical therapy they are professional and make you feel special really care. I will look forward to returning there when I have my other knee surgery.

This place always runs a tight ship. They do their best to find an appointment that works for you. And they show you things you can do yourself at home, so you feel like you have some control over your injury.
