Have been going to Oakeson PT since June after going to another PT for a number of months. At the other PT I was passed around from therapist to therapist as well as working with assistant’s and students. There was almost no improvement in that time frame. When I started at Oakeson I was given to Colin who was one of their therapist. I worked with him for the entire 5 months. After 3 sessions he figured out what was causing one of my major problems which the other PT never did. He set up a program for my neck and back that worked and when a problem arose on the other side of my back he addressed that and it was gone in about a month. Today was my last day as the pain had subsided almost entirely( I’m 74 so a little pain can be expected). I would recommend Colin and Oakeson to anyone who needs a great therapist.

Have been to this place several times - for my positional vertigo, for my wife’s positional vertigo, for back pain and knee pain. Bob Oakeson is a master practitioner. If you need an Epley, look no further.

Marissa Desjardins is a great physical therapist. She communicates well and explains why our muscles and bodies do what they do. I saw significant strength improvement helping my knee heal. Friendly and welcoming.

I love this place! Marissa is my PT and she truly cares about me. She remembers the little details like me being new to the area and every time i come in she gives tips and suggestions to make my life in AZ amazing. She is always concerned about my physical well being and i feel my concerns and needs are always addressed. I haven't been paired with any other therapists but i see their patients just as happy as I am!

Went back for a 3rd round of PT after having my humerus bone plated and screwed back together. The muscle was atrophied and my arm had profound weakness (medical term). Slowly, and will lots of patience and some laughter tossed in, Marissa gave me the confidence I needed to break through the pain and start to use my arm again. I actually enjoyed my time, met some friends, shared plenty of shenanigans and most important I have my life back. :) Thank you Marissa! Thank you also to Collin (Sweetheart) and Bob who continuously provided humor and encouragement. This is my second round of PT at Oakeson. The first was for a hip replacement and now I have a broken humerus bone. This break is complex and quite painful. My therapist is Marissa and she makes it all ok. We (myself and other patients) have light hearted conversations, along with lots of laughter, while doing our exercises. I've made great progress and Marissa always provides encouragement along the way. I have gone to other PT places and felt invisible. They were too busy for my questions and it was very mechanical. Highly recommend the entire team - especially Marissa!

Oakeson Physical and Aquatic is a top notch physical therapy group. I especially like that they provide aquatic therapy. Stacy, the PT is the best around. He knows his business and is always willing to share his knowIedge. I recently started physical therapy with Marrisa, who is not only very friendly, professional, but is also extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy.

I came into this place with severe back pain, scoliosis...was going to a chiropractor for 3 years to no avail. A year of going here, I can now deadlift and exercise, I was originally told by a spinal surgeon/ expert I would never be able to lift over 30 pounds without pain. Easily the friendliest environment I've ever been in before and they know what they are doing, literally life changing. Thanks Ian.
