NRH Rehabilitation Network at 19th Street

I had a fantastic experience at NRH MedStar. My physical therapist, Christian, brought such positive energy to every session, which kept me motivated. He took his time with each exercise, ensuring I was doing everything correctly, and my recovery from a very bad ankle injury progressed faster than expected. The entire team, from the front desk to the clinic assistants, was attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing physical therapy.

Tim was a an excellent physical therapist. He helped me in the sessions and also gave me handouts so I could stretch at home. There are helpful videos provided as well to demo the same stretches. The reception staff were friendly and the whole experience was positive.

I had an incredibly positive and helpful experience here. I could not speak more highly of my P/T, Zack Kaye. He led me through a several month journey to help fix my frozen shoulder and associated muscle issues.. He was thorough, considerate and always positive. And I greatly appreciated his explanation of why we were doing certain exercises, and his knowledge of the impact on the relevant muscle, tissue and joint areas. 5 stars.

I went in not being able to sleep through the night and waking up in pain. Working with Zach (and Lauren for a while) over a few months has completely restored me. I was taken through a program of exercises that gradually ramped up. Zach took the time to explain how everything fit together and how to avoid making things worse. And I have learnt a set of exercises I can do at home should I feel another twinge. The work was sometimes hard but definitely worthwhile. I'd recommend Zach to anybody who needs some physical therapy.

Tim was a fantastic PT who made sure that I left feeling healthy and equipped with the knowledge of what to do in case of any flare ups. NRH really focuses on 1:1 time between the patient and PT, making each session tailored to how I was feeling and what I needed that day. Thank you so much Tim and team!

In my case, this was a life changing treatment. I’d been suffering from tension headaches and dizziness for years. No medical specialist had been able to diagnose anything specific, but I went to physical therapy just on the basis my issue seemed connected with posture. My therapist (Zach) quickly flagged whole-body issues I was quietly suffering from due to old injuries I thought I’d made full recoveries from. I’d been to PT clinics previously that completely missed the complex overlap of those problems, but NRH got it done. It was a long process of recovery but, like I said, their treatment changed my life.

I highly recommend to go somewhere else. Don't waste your time here. I have had good experiences at other Medstar NHR locations but there is a lot of poor care and administration happening at this office. I saw two different PT's who were not engaged enough to fully listen to or address the issues I was having. The best way to describe the care here is lazy and inexperienced. The PT's are nice enough but the care and treatment was extremely poor compared to other PT experiences I've had. The more senior therapists may be different, but I had no interactions with them. The front desk continually made mistakes when requesting and appealling my insurance for more PT sessions which lead to (so far) 3 months of delayed treatment. While the fault is partly with the insurance company, the front desk staff is responsible for ~2 months of that delay. This office is not equipped to handle anything above a non-complex case.

My experience was excellent. Jacek was on time and professional and helped me gain my confidence after having broken my left ankle. Stepping down was very scary, but I gained the courage to due this basic step. Thanks Jacek.
