NovaCare Rehabilitation - Thorndale

Chin is amazing! She has helped both of my boys (2 different problems) when their doctors couldn’t figure it out. And, she did it quickly! Both of my kids were out of pain almost as soon as they started working with her.

Mary was an excellent therapist and so thoughtful in treating my elbow fracture. She had the patience to listen to me and treat accordingly and help heal my fracture. The complimentary rotator cuff injury and shoulder pain was so well treated by Louisa who also works with Mary. Louisa had the deep knowledge of shoulder injuries and how to treat them. Am so happy that I was able to get such experienced OT specialists to treat my fracture. Highly recommend Mary and Louisa at Novacare in Thorndale @novacare @thorndale

I can't be happier with the occupational therapy I have received here. I had a very serious hand/finger injury. Involving two broken fingers, a long period of immobility (while the bones healed) and the trauma to one of the fingers healed up. It was a complex task to rehab this finger as it had many scars/lacerations, broken bones and nearly frozen up tendons. It was a steep hill to climb! But, Louisa and Mary, the two incredibly talented Occupational therapists at NovaCare were not daunted. They got to work day one evaluating, measuring and coming up with a perfect plan. Their skills, toolset and custom splint, etc. building skills are so amazing. And to top it off you can tell they care and are cheering on your recovery and expecting great results. It's all very encouraging and it works! I am nearly fully recovered and further than anyone except for Louisa and Mary thought I would be. I was told by one doctor I would probably want the middle finger amputated because it would get in the way due to immobility. I am glad I didn't take his advice! I'm not done with my therapy yet but I can tell you if it got no better than it is now, I am already exceedingly happy with the results and able to do all that I want with my hand and finger. It's a miracle that Louisa and Mary (and my orthopedic doctors) brought things this far! I can't recommend NovaCare and their occupational therapists enough!!!

My therapy with Mary Loughlin has been excellent. Mary is gentle, patient and understanding. Her experienced approach to healing is so positive, giving her patients hope for regaining what has been compromised. I personally love the small, intimate, quiet feel of the office. Other facilities I have frequented were noisy, lacking the personal attention that is vital for successful recovery. The office is an older facility but not lacking in the necessaries for proper care and healing. I have been very happy with my decision to have Mary help with my recovery.

Mary is thoughtful and explains each step along the way. She is consistent in measuring so that I can see progress is being made even if it doesn't feel like it

I am really happy that I found my occupational hand therapist Ms. Mary L. at Novacare in Thorndale, PA. She is not only highly professional but very caring person. She is helping me with my trigger fingers and wrist inflammation which both are very painful and debilitating conditions. With her patience and experience she has developed excellent routine home-exercise program for me, and suggested ways to continue my treatment. She has a collection of tools and devices to help patients with their conditions, including paraffin treatment, massage therapy, ultrasound treatment, special machine that massages and heats your hands by gentle rotational movement of the corn particles, and many more "toys" to improve the hand and fingers strength and mobility. For each patient she design an individual treatment plan and constantly evaluate it, readjusting it based on the most current conditions. Every time when I come to my appointment, Mary asks me about my conditions and issues, she makes sure that I have all exercise hand-outs for my homework before I leave home😅. It is her high professionalism and humanity and care that works miracles at the Thorndale, PA Novacare office! I also love the pictures at the Thorndale office, and a very professional and caring staff! Thank you very much, dear Ms. Mary for your wonderful job in helping me to get my hands back in working order!

I am a new patient of NovaCare. In the 3 sessions I have had with Cyndi Lewis, I can attest to her caring attitude as well as her expert knowledge of her profession. I am feeling much better already.
