I went to this facility for PT for herniated lumbar spine discs. The intake for which I paid $125 was really nothing more than an interview , some minor checks on my flexibility and a sheet of paper for exercises to do at home. Within 24 hours of that appointment I was in excruciating pain. I then went to another PT practice that was a totally different experience where I was given treatment in the first appointment, a clearer explanation of the treatment plan and a much more professional staff and facility.

I have major back problems and Jen is always honest and compassionate with my care. She talks with me not at me when we discuss treatments. I would definitely recommend Jen and her staff at NovaCare - Ft. Washington. A fantastic experience.

NovaCare in Fort Washington is an upbeat place. Everyone is friendly there- from the receptionist, Kat, to the physical therapists, Jen and Val, to the other patients. The facility has all of the equipment that you would need. Your physical therapist gives you exercises and teaches you how to do them. You get a printout with pictures and descriptions of your at-home exercises, as well as access to a helpful website with videos of someone demonstrating the exercises, and you can also write to your physical therapist on there. My physical therapist, Val, was terrific! She is very knowledgeable, positive, and caring. She would ask me how I was feeling, come up with new exercises for me based on my progress, and was thorough in answering any questions I had. Physical therapy was a success for me and my back pain has gone away. Plus, I actually liked coming to the sessions!

I have only gone to NovaCare Fort Washington for a few appointments. But, in this short time I could not be happier! The staff is extremely friendly from the receptionist to the therapist! Jeff has been wonderful in helping me heal. He seems to genuinely care about his clients. He is friendly, down to earth, and makes you feel comfortable during the therapy process. I would highly recommend. 😊

Where is the option for zero stars? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for serious therapy. You're better off sitting at home watching TV than coming here. The way this place is run is a complete joke. The fist day we came, one of the therapists was trying to convince me NOT to come and observe. Later, I had realized why. It says One-On-One on the schedule, but it is nothing like that. The therapists literally walk around giving multiple patients exercises to do, leave and then come back for another. In between this time, they small talk amongst themselves about their personal lives. The therapists have exercises such as the bike and corn husks which involve no interaction from them. The majority of the sessions are spent doing these types of exercises. The therapists barely interact with the patient. The exercises they gave us to take home were never even taught to us. I was not happy with the way this facility was run, especially for a stroke patient. Later our therapist kept warning us of an if we don't get approved for future sessions scenario. She tried to sell us a gym membership at their facility as a backup plan to being declined for PT. This was mentioned to us multiple times within the next few weeks. At this point I had an eerie feeling that were were about to be kicked out. The therapist all know how approval of insurance works and they deliberately wrote to the insurance company so that we would NOT get approved for future visits. Perhaps they'd rather do sessions with young athletes who only have minor injuries? This happened shortly after for OT as well. Also, the scheduling here is horrendous. There would always be gaps in-between approvals for additional visits. They cancelled multiple appointments on the same day of the appointment. Zero consistency. Strokes are a time sensitive recovery and this facility was a big waste of time.

I have had very good results with the team at NovaCare in Fort Washington. I still have some way to go to complete my treatment and trust we will all end well together.

This business is hiring companies to delete their negative reviews or flagging them as inappropriate. I have reported them to google business. I have seen several reviews removed from this business. Anyone can see that business have several techniques to remove google reviews. All it takes is a google search! The positive reviews are faked. This place is the most worthless place to do therapy. They will deliberately get your future visits rejected by insurance and try to sell you a membership afterwards. This should be illegal.
