NovaCare Rehabilitation - East Lansing

Leslie has provided excellent care. My issue in some ways is minor---a dislocated bone in my little finger. However, it was swollen and badly bent two weeks ago. Now, it is nearly straight and usable again. She tediously works on massages and other treatments. More work is needed, but I am very impressed with Leslie's knowledge and efforts. She is very positive, and the overall NovaCare environment is excellent. I would come here again for other rehab, if needed.

Leslie is the best. She puts her patients first and has a great plan for you. I’ve enjoyed every appointment I’ve had with her. I’ve been going to her for a hand injury and she’s been amazing for everything. She can tell when an exercise is getting to the point it hurts and make you stop so you don’t hurt yourself further. If you need hand OT, she’s the best. Wish I could keep her on my move.

She is very professional and knowledgeable. Not a pushover. Makes you work hard. Has a great personality and is easy to talk to. I recommend her to anyone with arm and hand problems

Haven’t officially started my physical therapy but went in for the first initial visit today and after months of being dismissed, treated like a burden, given no answers or guidance, shouted at, I finally felt like I was treated with respect and have a realistic yet positive outlook for my injury. Thanks!

Leslie is an amazing hand therapist. Her excellent capabilities plus her encouraging personality and humor make each visit fun. I highly recommend this place. The office staff is also friendly and helpful, even when I forgot to bring my paperwork to my appointment. 😬

Overall not a good experience. Manager was was explicitly requesting that clients give them 5 stars so that they'd be high on Google ratings. Yet the service was inconsistent day to day with subpar care and lack of proper and professional attention given to patient supervision and care plans. Furthermore, there was way too much negative attitude given by the manager with lack of follow through and apathy toward patient care that is unacceptable in this profession. The two stars is for the cleanliness of the facility and the advice given by the front desk.
