I've been going to NovaCare in Carbondale for five years now (2019-2024). Each time I "graduate" from whatever thing I was going for, but eventually I end up needing to come back for something else. I've now had PT there for an achilles heel, a bad back, a worn out knee, and shoulder\neck problems. Josh has been really great to work with and has truly helped me recover from my injuries and ailments. Can't recommend highly enough!

Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. Joshua Anderson, the therapist I met with is very knowledgeable. He provided an effective treatment to address my needs. Still working on it and already seeing progress.

Kaitlyn the receptionist is very friendly & prompt. However thats where my good experience ends as I had to call & ask a question about my upcoming appointment that was to be a 4 hour time slot. I spoke with Josh about my MRI results & if I should continue with this appointment or wait until after my consult with Ortho, since surgery was mentioned by my nurse. Josh became very irritated & started telling me that by me not being able to attend my appt was a huge inconvenience to them as they had to block off 4 hours just for me. Then proceeded to tell me not to bother coming back to them, to find somewhere else to go! Now all I did was ask if I should keep this appt due to my results of MRI! I was absolutely taken back by his rudeness. I have notified the VA about this & pray they don't send any other vets to this location. I apologized for being an "inconvenience" to them.

I highly recommend Nova Care of Carbondale. Josh and Abby along with their receptionist Amanda are amazing. I just graduated from rehab here for the second time today from my second injury to my ankle, they did an outstanding job with my treatment plan. My ankle has gone such a long way then it was a few months ago. They’re all very patient, understanding, caring, and flexible with their schedules. You will not be disappointed by the care you will receive if you start rehab with them!

From the first moment, Josh and his team were supportive and helpful being soft spoken and low pressure, yet pushing me willingly into the program I need to help with my back and legs. They obviously know what they are doing and I am confident they will me improve.

I had the privilege to shadow under Dr. Anderson for about a year, and within that time I was able to see how he interacted with every patient. He treated every patient with the up most respect and answered every question myself or any patient threw at him. Overall, Dr. Anderson was an excellent Physical Therapist, he not only went the extra mile with all of his patients, but also took the time to make sure I was taken care of and understood what was going on.
