Patient experiences
Came here for the first time 7/5/22. One of the hottest muggiest days with a heat advisory. Doors are closed. Sign in front says: Stop. Call this number for further instructions. Am I joining the military? A lady answers and asks me my Medicare insurance questions because it's either covered or not. So you make older folks stand in full sun on the pavement while you sit in the AC? Great customer service!
My Dad's perception for diabetic shoes were turned in on 13 Nov. Two weeks later he called to see if they were in. They told him that his Dr didnt check a box and hasn't returned the paperwork they needed, really... TWO WEEKS after it was turned in?? I called the Drs office and the first time they showed record of receiving the paperwork was the morning he had called. We were told by Nova that they were ordered as soon as the paperwork was received from Dr (The next day after we called the Dr office). It is now 22 Dec, still no shoes. They made up more lies about why. They promised they called and the shoes have been expedited ... we were told that BOTH time before. They were caught two different times straight out lieing! We are 6 weeks later, in the middle of winter he cant wear regular shoes because of the diabities. I am past disgusted with them!!
They have been doing my daughters custom orthotics for the past 8 years. She loves these folks, & they do a great job. Tina at the front desk knows her stuff & is a joy to deal with.
My mom has to wear a brace on her right leg due to polio when she was a little girl and she took her prescription for a new brace and shoe in 2020 they made the brace and it wasn't right and so they had to redo it this went on for a couple of months and finally the guy who was tending to my mom said that he was going to have to make another brace she called several times and after over a year they said that they had her brace i went and got it and it wasn't right now the guy that made the bracequit nova care and went to work at the hanger after saying that he didn't like the hange shestill doesn't have a brace that works for her and nova care has been paid for the brace
I wouldnt go anywhere else in the world. The staff is extremely friendly, and professional. And the care they give is wonderful -I felt like they really listened and whenever i go for my yearly visit i always leave happy.
Friendly caring staff. Also they loved our service dogs.
