Oh my gosh! This place and its people have been amazing. Especially Mike! He is the only person that has known what is wrong with me. I’ve been given the tools to heal my issues!! The nurses and CNAs have been amazing as well. Kind, caring and helpful. I thought life as I knew it was over. I think I might get that life back now and hopefully more!!

Northwest Medical Center Inpatient Rehab was PHENOMENAL!! My mother spent 13 days at this facility following a horrible experience from severe surgical complications during a 12 day stay at Washington Regional Medical Center, including ICU. Washington Regional kept pushing their sister rehab center, Encompass. However, after touring both Encompass and Northwest Medical, it was clear that Northwest was the best choice for our mother. Bigger is not always better! Northwest is technically a smaller facility, but this proved to be a true blessing. My mother received incredible focused care from a very caring staff. Every single person who cared for her showed kindness, empathy, sincerity, knowledge, and a wealth of experience. She made impressive progress in such a short amount of time. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE deserves a shout out. From the doctors, nurses, and therapists, to the activities coordinator, nutrition staff, and cleaning crew. They made mom feel special, important, and validated. They treated her like family and helped keep her spirits up during the emotional rollercoaster she was on. If you or someone you love is in need of inpatient therapy, choose Northwest! I promise, you won't regret it. If I could give them 100 stars on the review, I would. I am forever grateful to each of them for their truly remarkable care.

I was treated so well there by everyone, from the dietary dept. to the nursing staff. Everyone was so nice and caring. When I had to ring for someone to help me, which was often, they always came in as quickly as possible and were all very pleasant. The therapists were very good and patient with me. This is the best rehab facility I have ever been in!

While most of the staff is great, particularly Kayden and Anniston, my mother did not receive good care here. In fact, she is now worse than when she was admitted to the rehab facility. On admission to the hospital, she could walk and do things for herself, but now she is bed-ridden and weak. On admission to rehab, the plan was for her to get up and walk and she was transferring to a bedside toilet the first few days there. Through errors in medication reconciliation, my mother ended up being given numerous medications that complicated her orthostatic hypotension, leading her to pass out several times. This included six times the gabapentin she was receiving at home. Since then, the therapy staff has been "too scared" to get her up and walking in the words of one staff member. They only did bed exercises for two weeks, leading to rapid deterioration of her physical and cognitive abilities. One of the therapists, Mike, was also repeatedly verbally abusive to my mother - telling her she was not trying or what would her parents think about her now. My mother has been moved to another care facility today, but NW Health ate up most of her acute inpatient rehab days from Medicare for the year without doing anything to help her. Instead, they made her condition worse and left her weaker than she was when she arrived. I'm very disappointed that, despite repeated calls to administration and repeated requests from my mother to walk, they could not or would not improve her outcome here.

The week I spent there was awesome. Mike and his crew are absolutely the best therapist I've ever had. The nurses I had were phenomenal, Katlin and Meg were super!! Everyone took care of me and made me feel much better. Melissa did awesome with activities to help pass the time.

I have had the best nurses a patient could ask for.Very professional and pretty too. Meg and Katlin- very respectful, willing to help with anything. Melissa and Kathy were great as well. Andrea is a great therapist.

The staff and physicians at NWMC Inpatient Rehab. are incredible! To say one is more outstanding would do a disservice to all. No matter how busy, to a person, they were patient, extremely helpful and caring. This is the absolutely the best hospital experience we have ever experienced. We are so grateful for everyone there.

My mom was in a serious accident and was sent here via ambulance. They took amazing care of her. Everyone went above and beyond just doing their jobs. They were all so genuinely kind and I know that played a big part in Mom's recovery. This place knows how to care for their patients.
