Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital, Needs to have Security Camera's. to see what kind of employees they have working in the 4.0 rated facility! This place absolutely is a nightmare! Please, stay with your loved ones, do not leave them unattended. They mistreat you and leave you in bed soaked in urine! They laughed at you thinking they are funny! saying jokes to patients that are not fully recovered from a brain injury. patients are they for care and need to be respected. They are there to get help and recover not to be mistreated and laughed at. Praying for this facility.

In the Top 10% reflects that they made it by rehabbing broken limbs… I don’t think that this hospital should be responsible for the care of spinal or brain injuries. I saw multiple patients get mistreated and made fun of by nurses. There are a few nurses that should move to another hospital, because they actually cared for their patients.. I was a victim to a few nurses that shouldn’t be in healthcare at all, I had two nurses get in my face and act “high and mighty” as well as leave me untreated. In my opinion, if this happens to more patients, this hospital should not be in business. The therapists are the only people who take any pride in their work. Case management might be better if Megan is released from her duties, as she told me I would not get the transfer to a better rehab that I had lined out, and was trying to send me to a skilled nursing facility. COME TO FIND OUT, I was the first person to get denied the transfer. I am not the first patient to get neglected and ignored at this facility this year. I hope either the problem gets corrected, or this place gets closed down.. found multiple hairs in my food and on numerous occasions I was given dirty dishware to eat my meals in, including the county jail style food. If you trust this facility to care for your loved ones, I suggest that you get them transferred as soon as possible. Because this hospital ignores call lights constantly, as well as when shift change comes at night? You won’t see your care takers for 2 hours. Please keep your family members out of here

I have worked in Healthcare 36 years and been an RN for over 27 years and I have never been in a better facility in my life. Staff greet you with a smile, are kind, competent and encouraging. From the PCTs, PT/OT, dietary, cleaning staff, Doctors, PA, RT, nurses and case workers, this is a world class facility. Would recommend it to anyone looking for rehab. I was 15 hours from home and was without family for 5 days and they made me feel like family. ❤️

The therapist are great as well as very few nurses. Most of the nursing staff are a joke. Patients waiting hours for meds and breathing treatments and to be changed. It’s unreal!!! The only thing good here is the therapists. Inpatient care is not recommended at all outpatient therapy is recommended!!! If you have a loved one here make sure someone is always with them. This place is still terrible. I think the whole 2 month stay we met 2-3 staff members that actually did their jobs for the patients and not the paycheck and not to mention they actually knew what they were doing. A PTC and RT (not even 1 nurse). The food was terrible for the patients and was rarely served on time. Patients were forgot about and left in their rooms during meals and when remembered, they were given 15 min to eat. Highly recommended to NOT send family here for care.

As a newer employee, I have been grateful for the amount of support I receive and teamwork I see. Not only do I witness top-notch patient care, but I see a great amount of compassion from my coworkers.

My grandmother stayed there and ended up back in the regular hospital. The care is terrible. Do not send your loved ones here.

I have to give a three star review because my interaction as a visitor with the nurses has been pretty good. However, the front desk worker who rolled her eyes at the fact that I was bringing my service dog into the facility and the interaction that we had because the credit card machine was down and I couldn’t purchase meal Tickets was concerning. However… the other concerning issue, and it’s a big one seeing that the person I am here to visit, and am a POA for, being a recent amputee, is supposed to be bathed every 24 hours. The bed baths leave him feeling like dirt is being pushed around, and as you can see from the photo, he is to be cleaned every 24 hours. He was promised by PT yesterday for a shower, he was looking forward to it! He wanted to feel clean! Not to mention, his below the knee amputation was the third amputation in the past three months! I am sad that a promise was made and the PT couldn’t even tell him it wasn’t coming to fruition, they made the promise and left it to the nursing staff to let him down. I am so disappointed that they cannot see the importance! As we struggle in life, it’s the small things that can help us keep a great positive outlook, but he’s been here 5 days and promises made and not kept… and to think as a vet, being that they offer outpatient rehab, I was going to talk to the VA about doing outpatient warm water therapy here… not now, if that’s the way I am going to be treated by the therapists!

This facility is simply amazing. The professionalism and quality of service is incredible. There is nothing I can say that is even a slight bit negative. The in-patient rehabilitation was beyond my expectations. Special thanks to PT Alli, Hanna and Raven, OT Brenda and Olivia, ST John and case manager Megan. The nursing staff and Doctors are amazing as well, with special thanks to Tiara, Claire, Holly and Doctors Arragonte and Doctor Campbell. I apologize if I forgot any of the amazing staff, but each and everyone was simply the best. Oh and the food was very good, much better then I expected. If I could rate this facility or staff higher I would give them more star's. I will drive the 80 miles each way a few time a week to finish up my out-patient rehabilitation, it will be well worth it. SPECIAL THANKS TO EACH AND EVERYONE AT NORTHERN COLORADO REHABILITATION. Tom A.
