I am travelling through the southern states on my way back up north to avoid the mountains. I got sick ten or so days ago and couldn’t shake it so i came here to get checked in case i was missing something that needed treatment. It’s a small facility. Parking was free out front. There was no one in the waiting room when i arrived, i got registered right away. It wasn’t even three minutes and the doctor was already in the room assessing me! I got all my tests completed in a timely manner and was in & out in 2.5 hours. The staff were polite and friendly, even got some jokes in with the lab lady. When i left the place was busy with a lot of sick people. Being in health care myself I have a lot of empathy for the staff. I will say they did an excellent job even though at times I was left wondering what was next- more than likely it skipped their minds to keep me posted but in the same breath I also already knew what to expect as I work in this department too. The American health care system is costly im sure, but despite that and being thankful for my insurance I had a much better experience than had I done this in Canada.

Dr. Goldstein is horrible and did not tell me my son had a very concerning result on his cat scan. He sent us home.saying everything was fine. Thank God my PCP found the concern the next day, and got us referred to a neurologist.I might be calling the ceo because there is more to this story but we live in a small town.

Shout out to Krystal in the ER at Willcox. She was so sweet and took such good care of me. The radiologist to. I've been using Willcox hospital since I moved here in 2016 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. You can tell they really care ☺️

My elderly sister was taken to this hospital after a fall, she was weak and confused. They did blood and urine tests as well as a scan of her head. She was no better when they discharged her a few hours later than when she came in. We still have not received any information about the results of her tests. I think she would’ve had better care from an urgent care.

I cannot emphasize enough how well I was treated at Northern Cochise County Hospital. From the time I walked into the emergency department I was greeted and made to feel like I was the only patient they had. They were caring, yet totally professional. Dr. Paul Castle was very thorough and explained by condition in a way that I understood. I was admitted overnight for observation. On the floor Dr. Stephanie Williams was there to explain everything that was being done for me. Again in terms I understood. Christina, my nurse was cheerful as well as the other nurses I saw during my stay. They made me feel like I was the only one they had to take care of. We were traveling through the area when I took sick. I have been to many hospitals from local to John’s Hopkins in Maryland. I wish I lived in this area because this would be my hospital of choice. Thank you to the staff of NCCH.

We were in the middle of a 17 hour road trip when our 7 month old spiked at 103 fever. This was the nearest hospital so it's where we stopped. They were so nice and fast. It was 3am and we were the only ones there. They immediately took my baby's vitals and gave her meds to bring her temperature down. The 4 hours was waiting for the tests to come back to tell us she had RSV (and not something bacterial that she would need antibiotics for). The doctor came in after the test results came back and was so nice. He wrote her a script and we continued on our road trip.

Charice has NO idea how to process insurance from out of State. Joy her supervisor never returns call. They bill your insurance for things not provided to you like a walker. Cherice would just dump you on the curb without your safety equipment to get home like the walker. They don't comply with HIPA regulations.Other support stuff does not identify themselves, are rude and think they know everything. The medical staff needs to just stick to their medical status. You tell them that you are allergic to Rx and they question you. They charge you for Rx that you declined and through them in the garbage. God, only knows what they do with the Control Substances.

(The stars are for the student nurses and nurses I dealt with today). Went into the Er for severe women’s health issues. The nurse that came in were very polite and humble, they were very respectful, giving the fact that I was completely alone and terrified for majority of my time there. I dealt with a couple of doctors, but the female doctor I dealt with was very aloof, horrible lack of compassion and bedside manner. Due to trauma response, there is a boundary that should never be a cross between a doctor and a patient regarding that trauma response. The female doctor that I dealt with today over cross that line by a lot. She had a very dramatic emotional response to a very traumatic outburst then disregarding patient needs and making it about herself, stating “I shouldn’t have had an outburst like that, and that I hurt her feelings.” By the time I got discharged, I felt like I had wasted my time for an answer that completely disregarded my concerns. I then left with the same questions I had walked in with.
