NAU campus health has an incredible ability to charge people approximately an arm and leg for every service they have. They WILL bill you at a random point, for me it was 3 months after said appointment. Staff is not helpful and it depends on whether or not you get someone with any sort of kindness as to whether or not you will ever even get an answer. DO NOT get psychiatric help from campus health, as it is over $100 for each appointment just for someone to absolutely ruin your life. Overall, screw this service and take your money elsewhere to get help.

The provider just cancelled the appointment I have waited two weeks, and only informed me on the appointment date. Now I have to reschedule and the earliest available one would be in another two wks.... How is this okay?!!! if us patient don't make it to the appointment we will have to pay a fine, but provider can just cancel whenever they want? I understand if the provider having emergency or something like that, but then shouldn't the clinic do something for those patients who been impacted by the sudden changes?

The staff here is horrible at sending referrals to insurance which is necessary to see anyone outside of the clinic as a graduate student. They constantly say that it’s been done but then the cost falls on the patient because insurance says they never got a copy of the referral. This has happened to me multiple times preventing me from getting the care I need. The staff needs to do a better job of keeping track of and sending referrals when asked as it becomes a dangerous and unnecessary stress on the patient.

Just wanted to share the oddest experience I just had with nurse practitioner Susan Bigley to warn others from seeing her. I made an appointment to order some blood work with her and she immediately was trying to dissuade me from doing it with misinformation and in an intimidating manor. She said that I should only have to do it every 5 years (which is not true, blood work is advised every year during your annual check up). She also had a very know it all attitude and it was intimidating. It got very awkward when she told me that the “blood work costs everyone money” to perform and was trying to convince me to not do one because “everyone has to pay for it”? It got so weird and I responded by saying that that’s what my insurance is for. I’ve never been to a check up like this and I can’t believe she treats patients the way she treated me. Do not see Susan Bigley!

The health care providers are amazing here. I've gotten help for everything from pulled/sprained arms, chest problems, flu shots, and even got a diagnosis for my chronic condition, something that dozens of doctors in the past have overlooked on me. I also recently started going to therapy here and everyone that got me started on the process was super nice and helpful, even when I started crying doing my intake form. The reception staff are less than helpful, but an easy way to avoid any miscommunication is to just go to the self-service kiosks, so no harm no foul there.

I have had a really bad experience in the past with another office back home and I was really nervous to go here because of the bad reviews but it is the most convenient for me. Everyone here was really kind: the front desk people, the lab people, the phlebotomist, the medical assistant, and the doctor. My doctor was Crowder and she was so nice! As someone who is a college student and new to the adult world with doctors appointments etc. (and has anxiety scheduling on the phone) I felt extremely comfortable here. AMAZING!

Kelly Sahl is incredibly unprofessional and her work with vulnerable patients should be evaluated. 2 stars for the rest of the staff being amazing and helpful.

The NAU health clinic is the absolute worst. I’m not sure who decides which nurses/ practitioners get hired at this place but the three times I have gone I have gotten little to 0 help with my sickness and was always just told to go buy more drugs at target! There’s seems to be a lot more dress up going around at this place and I have absolutely no faith or trust in anything they would attempt to “diagnose” me with. I’m pretty sure my 2 year old blind and deaf cat could figure out what was wrong with me and be more correct than these FOOLISH NAU doctors. If I could give no stars I would. Get it together
