Northern Arizona Healthcare Children's Health Center

This is regarding the Children’s GI section of the healthcare facility. Today, my wife tried to take our son to an appointment with Dr Ingebo who is a knowledgeable children’s GI doctor. We had to shuffle child care for our daughter, and I took her into work with me (she is 15 months old), and attempted to participate in a meeting while keeping her busy. My wife picked our son up from school midday and took him to the appointment. She waited 40 minutes. Nothing. She asked the front desk how much longer. They said another hour. She left. Our 5 year old son had already waited for 45 minutes, and we didn’t want him to miss any more school. In summary, we had a scheduled appointment, we moved our days around and it caused everyone in the family problems, we waited 45 minutes, were told we would have to wait another hour, and so we left without our son being seen. Look, I get that this is the only children’s GI doctor in town which sucks. I also get that because of this, you are super busy. That being said, this is the second time this has happened to us in as many years. The first time I let it slide. But this is too much. Just like you, our time is valuable. When you treat us this way it makes us feel like you don’t believe our time matters. If I could take our son somewhere else in town, I’d never come back. But we’re stuck with you (and you with us). Please. Do better.

I love all the therapists here! They are so good with my daughter and sooo personable! I highly recommend them💕☺️

My son has been a patient with the Children's Health Center since he was a baby. He's now 8-years-old. He and I are so appreciative of the services he's received his whole life. A few years ago, he was referred to the inspire program and I cannot express how much this had changed him! He is now more active than he ever was and we owe it all to the fitness program. He has been working with Anthony and Laura. They have taught him how to properly utilize his muscles in a way that allows him to play freely without falling and injuring himself. He always gets excited when he discovers that his appointment is with Laura in the gym. He just loves her and she's so kind and understanding! I cannot express just how much he's improved since joining this program, but I can tell you, it works! I highly recommend the Children's Health Center and the Inspire Program!

All I can say is good reviews for this facility. Me and family have been coming to this place for over a year now. My kids love to work with Laura and other staff. They always have a great time in her gym. They have selective exercise equipment to do your workouts and clean space

I can’t say enough good things about this place! When we first began feeding therapy here I was a nervous first time mom, fearful that my child would never be able to eat and would struggle to speak, but working with JunLi changed everything. With her guidance my son has grown exponentially and hit so many developmental milestones faster than I ever thought he’d meet them. During our time here we’ve worked with many wonderful practitioners and it’s truly become like a second home. I will always look back at our time here fondly and I am eternally grateful to everyone that helped my son grow! Taking your child to Northern Arizona Children’s Health Center is the best decision you could make!

PT GRADUATION DAY!! My son has been coming here since he was 6 weeks old. He was diagnosed with severe torticollis. Jessica from PT was absolutely amazing! Her techniques and soothing reassurance for the baby along with mom is what made us get to this day! Now he is 9 months old and striving, completely different from day one. Absolutely grateful for the staffs amazing attitudes and helpfulness.

Our daughter is a patient of Jessica M., PT, DPT at the CHC in Flagstaff. She is absolutely wonderful! She organizes exercises in a way that makes them fun and motivating and she is so encouraging with our daughter. Every session is robust with exercises to help our daughter gain strength, balance, and coordination, as well as being things she can do at home. We are so grateful for Jessica in our daughter's healing journey!

Dr. Kurnik and Mark Fick were so incredibly knowledgeable and professional with our 3 month old boy. We will definitely be recommending them and Northern Arizona Childcare to all of our friends. Thank you!
