It was literally one wild goose chase after another from the rainbow city clinic to the Gadsden clinic where I had to gather bits and pieces of important information that I needed for my disability from 4 different people. Highly unprofessional and disorganized staff, as for the actual doctors I can only speak on Dr.Blackstock and I had a wonderful experience with him. However those little girls they have behind the counters could do a way better job at offering information upfront. At the very start I couldn’t even walk turns out it was my acl and meniscus yet for some odd reason the orthopedic office notified my job that I could walk?

I can only relate this post in regards to Dr Glen Wilson. Dr Wilson did a hip replacement in June 24. He was the only orthopedic surgeon in Gadsden who did the procedure from the front. I've had both and believe me the front is a much quicker recovery. I could not have asked for better care than I reieved from Dr Wilson. If I ever need another ortho doc I'll be back to see Dr Wilson at NEO

This clinic has to be the most unprofessional, unorganized, and rude experience in recovery I’ve seen. I was warned about this place, but because of location it was an easier option. The surgery went well, recovery at home went well….but when it came to important documents being shredded and not sent off to my employer or myself was just absolutely ridiculous and inattentive to your job. If that is in your job description to perform, and you chose to do what you did..you should be fired. Don’t get me started on billing. Tell me why you charged me twice for my brace? Heavy on not trusting you after pulling that one. It’s the lack of care and god forbid I ask questions about a breakdown of everything, so that I know where my money is going. You can not expect patients to just walk in with $200 on a daily. Let’s be realistic. Now if you tell me in advance instead of the night before or the day of, then no problem. I will try to prepare my funds and budget. I can’t afford to just give you all of my funds in one day. To the ladies at the front desk for appointments, please for the love of god… explain to patients what you do for the paperwork fee of $40 you charge for FMLA. After what I went through, I deserve a refund tbh. And to the ladies at the therapy desk. Get it together!!! No seriously!! It shouldn’t be this hard. If you tell me you’ll have information written down for me to explain the balance and I show up the next day and you’re looking at me like I’m crazy…3 days straight… I have no respect for you. Don’t make me out to be the bad person because I’m constantly confused asking questions that you should’ve been gave me. Tell me why it took you almost two weeks just to finally print out what I’ve been asking for? Unprofessional!! I really do hope that NEO reads this and evaluate the situation. I can’t believe I ignored all of the bad rep yall have. #Audits iykyk This is for everyone: keep all of your receipts!!

Dr blackstock is nice but dry he does not ever give me advice I have to ask questions

They’re great and saw about me let alone treated my situation. Listened to me and was very attentive of what I was explaining and they took great care of meh and etc.

This review is only for anybody that has a workers comp incident. Staff was very polite and seemed to have a genuine care for the patients. I went due to a work injury with workers comp. My adjuster set me up an appointment with this clinic, and it took almost 2 months to get the appointment along with missing work and driving 1hour. When I got back to the room a lady named Renae came in and said they couldn't see me because I wrote down that I would like my lawyer that I'm using for a totally different incident, which was a car wreck two years prior, to have access to my medical records. This was just a thought and ive never done this before so it seemed like a good person to put down. Which is my right to release my own medical records to whomever I deem. She said because of this they refuse seeing me. Then she presumed to tell me that my injury was pre existing from another injury. Even though i said mutliple times "No this is an unrelated issue" She didn't show any care or would even listen to my mistake. I requested to just take my lawyers name off of it then, I didn't want to go through this process again. She then repeated that I'm here because of a pre existing condition that is tied up in litigation . I didnt want to explain again that it's not related. I even called my adjuster who had left for the day but his manager was still available. I let the adjuster speak to Renae directly to explain the situation. She still refused to let me be seen. She had zero care for anything I had to say, while also telling me that my Injury is related to the car accident that I had a couple years ago. I tried my best to be seen but now my time is wasted and I still need medical treatment, and forced to set up another appointment at a different Orthopedics and go through the process again. I would recommend from my experience to request a different orthopedic office for anything related to workers comp. This lady doesn't care about the individuals for sure, doesn't listen to the patient, she knows best and she even knows that my injury at work is not because I got hurt at work. It's because of the car wreck so that's why I can't be seen. I wish I knew my own struggles and pain like she presumes to know. It was a very embarrassing and bad experience for first time coming here.

The doctor was very rude, Made to feel embarrassed about disabilities Will never recommend NEO or EVER go back.

Dr. Blackstock is great and has really helped my shoulder pain. I'd give more stars but the scheduling system is crazy!! My husband and I have both had issues with appointments being moved to another time and location without our consent or knowledge. I schedule appointments around availability for transportation and my job. It's very frustrating to arrange this to arrive to an empty office!!
