Northbound Addiction Treatment Center - Orange County

I used to be a client here at northbound for 40 days. I got nothing but care, respect & love from here & that is big in recovery. Mikey a client advocate was there for me since day 1. Making sure I’m okay & always being there for my needs. Making sure I call home, making sure I don’t fall off with recovery & making sure I connect with other people to help with my journey in recovery. Mikey is a #1 & so is Freeman. That place felt like home to me when I have a big problem with change coming from San Francisco. Thank you Mikey, Freeman, Country, Candace, Kate & many for staff for helping me in my journey. This is where is really started for me on my recovery. Northbound has phenomenal staff and the groups are very educational, I’m 4 and a half months sober and Northbound is like a second home to me. Aaron the alumni coordinator helps you stay plugged in and Dustin is very helpful with finding you your next steps after completing northbound. I’ve never been somewhere so meaningful and with people that are staff in recovery and practice what they teach here: I would recommend it to anyone

I came to Northbound without any expectations except the expectation of receiving help for my alcoholism and addiction. This facility did just that hands down. The staff held my hand the whole way and brought me back to having hope in life when I had none. All of the staff including David Gates, Cherish, and my case manager Holly made sure I had everything I needed to get back into the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, intensive therapy and most of all changing my perception in life. The cafeteria, amenities and the rooms were outstanding. A very comfortable facility to live at during your road to recovery. If you are struggling with alcohol or addiction seek help because this way of life loving sober is ten times better than our old way of lives. I chose Northbound over several other detox, wellness and recovery options nationwide, and my decision has been validated throughout my stay. From my case manager, Ariana, to the intake staff to the therapists to the instructors (Beth and Byron are amazing), I have been very impressed with their level of professionalism, knowledge and care. I now have the foundation I was seeking to turn my mental and physical health in the full-health direction I desired coming in.

My experience at Northbound has completely changed my life. I’ve been to several treatment centers in Orange County, but this place has had the greatest impact on my recovery by far. The staff connect with you on a real level and give every client the respect they deserve. I walked into detox scared, insecure, and unsure if I could ever get clean. When it came to discharge, I could walk tall and felt empowered to step into my new life as a sober woman. No words can express how thankful I am!

Northbound treatment Center is my 9th treatment facility since 2019. It has given me by far the best tools for my recovery! I’m from Chattanooga, Tn and Orange County has a massive recovery that has helped me decide to stay out here. I want to thank all the staff for going above and beyond! Special shout outs to Dustin for helping me find the best accountable sober living, Michelle for always having a smile on her face and helping me achieve my goals and Spencer for being an amazing therapist!

Overall Northbound was a great experience for me. As a client I felt well taken care of, cared for and appreciated. Big shout outs to Ariana and Anna, my case manager and therapist for taking care of me and helping me psychologically through the process. Also a huge thank you to both David Gates and Cherish who helped me with my leave of absence from work by helping through the entire process of short term disability. Having the freedom from financial stresses let me focus much more on my recovery while in the program. I recommend Northbound to anyone who is struggling with addiction issues, as my experience here was fantastic. And to anyone struggling reading this, it gets better.

Northbound is like nothing I've ever experienced before in regards to rehabilitation. The staff is very kind, generous, and outgoing. They go above and beyond with helping me and everyone's addiction. Making sure that we feel secure and safe. They also provide outdoor activities that are fun to do, and also take you outside for adventure to different places. Northbound helped me get my life back on track and reunited me with Narcotics anonymous. Thank you Northbound.
