North Valley Pediatric Therapy

Used to be a really great place when they first opened years ago! Sadly, it has gone down hill in the last year as the owners have opened more locations and started caring more about the money, cutting our session times to fit in more clients. Also the therapist/employee turnover, we have been clients there longer than any of the therapists have even been employed.

My son has been going to the Anthem location for speech and every single person is so kind and so helpful. Gayle is a treasure, Nargis, Hanna and lissette have all been amazing to work with and I feel they genuinely care about my son and helping him. They have such patience and really encourage him to try his best. Couldn’t recommend them enough of commend them enough. Amazing place.

We love North Valley Pediatric Therapy!! Gail, Carson, Crystal, Lisette, Karissa, Mackenzie, and all the other therapists are amazing. Everyone goes above and beyond to make our appointments convenient, which is hard to do when everyone wants the same time. I also like the low turn over! We have been at other therapist where they come and go constantly and it’s hard for the kids to show progress in that environment. We have been here over two years and the boys have shown huge growth. We appreciate all they do for us. I highly recommend North Valley Pediatric Therapy!!

Please be aware of this group’s predatory billing practices. Most of us will sacrifice to get our kids the therapy they need and just focus on getting your child help, regardless of cost. I expect good knowledgeable people to give me best options and have my best interests in mind. But if you think this group is looking out for you, understand they are deciding what is best for them must be best for you and keeping their secret rate sheet to themselves unless asked. They do not give patients the cheapest option for payment, instead billing health insurance and then charging the patient MORE than their self pay rates. So they end up getting money from insurance AND then have the patient pay MORE than their normal rate. When I asked director Sandra if they thought people enjoyed paying more for services than others, I was told it was based on the persons’s ability to pay. And that’s why they don’t even explain the options and the most economic option to needy and desperate clients.

We have had such an amazing experience at NVPT! We have been taking one of our daughters there for almost a year and our other daughter just started going there too. We attend for speech therapy and have had awesome results. Not only are all the therapists great at what they do but they are very energetic, thoughtful, and kind. In addition, the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating every time! We are so grateful to have come across this amazing place. It’s definitely worth the 35 minute drive every week!

My son is 4.5 and has been attending NVPT for 1.5 years. He has a Level 2 ASD diagnosis. He receives OT, Feeding Therapy, and Speech Therapy. My experience with NVPT has been nothing short of amazing. The staff in the front office have become some of my favorite people. They are professional, patient, and most of all loving. Ms. Megan and Ms. Gail know the names of every child that walks in the door. They treat the children as if they were their own. They've cried with me for my frustrations and setbacks and rejoiced with me for my son's successes. They are truly angels that want to help your child succeed. We've had so many therapists that have exceeded all of our expectations. They are masters at recognizing your child's needs and helping them set and achieve their goals. They help me to carry over their methods at home. They really listen when something is a struggle or just not working. They pivot and re-center and move forward. If you are looking for a new pediatric therapy home for your child, look no further. NVPT is the best of the best.

The team at North Valley Pediatric Therapy is just amazing overall! From the receptionists that greet you when you check in to the therapists themselves. They are all extremely kind and very patient and we have most definitely seen improvement in my siblings since we began bringing them here. It’s absolutely a part of their day they very much look forward to!

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the environment and staff at North Valley. My oldest son has had speech issues since he first started making words. He had been evaluated and had tried speech therapy, with little improvement before we moved close to Anthem and started at NVPT. He immediately took to Miss. Karissa and has been with her almost two years now. He has made tremendous improvements, she is fun and creative but makes him work and my gosh, anyone who has known him can tell how far he has come. I cannot thank her enough for her patience and genuine attitude towards not only my son but myself as well. Always takes the time to explain and make sure I understand what they worked on and how to continue it at home. We call her "our Ms. Karissa" I have taken several of our cousins to be evaluated and seen, and from speech to physical therapy, feeding therapy and occupational therapy, everyone has been so great and every kid has enjoyed going. The front desk staff, Ms. Gail in particular, makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. Calls everyone by name and checks in with you to make sure everything is going well. Simply cannot rave enough!
