North Platte Physical Therapy

Don't go here! I have a rare neuromuscular disorder. In June 2021, one of the physical therapists was ordered for ultrasound ONLY of my left foot. He did that, then he decided to "stretch" my left leg by bringing it up to 90 degrees, telling me to lock my knee, at which point he forced my foot toward my shin by placing my foot on his chest and leaning in with his body weight. I gasped with pain and he said "stop it! I'm not hurting you!" No, hurt isn't the word, this is PERMANENT DAMAGE to my left leg. The photos here are of torn muscles from this event, and the tears in my thigh have never healed, inhibiting walking, sitting, and standing 13 months on. The muscle tears in my shin did heal up, fortunately, but there is a lump under the lower bruise in the photos. I called and informed the office that after a torture session where I was gaslit and torn to shreds that I didn't feel I should have to pay for that "pleasure", nor would I go back to see this therapist. That was fine, they said, but I would not be allowed back if they wrote off the bill. I got a statement showing they had written off the bill. Fast forward to this week, they have sent me to collections, call me from the main office regularly to get that $75!!! Hurt me and ask me to pay for it? I don't think so.
