They will screw you financially, lie about your bill and will not honor payment agreements! This office has been the absolute worst place to work with! My husband had surgery in 2022 and required once to twice a week PT following surgery. We were initially paying our copay at every appointment and had racked up a credit of over $1,000 as insurance hadn't paid out yet for all of the claims. In early 2023 after speaking with Ellie (I called them because we hadn't received any bills and I was worried about the account being racked up too high) we figured roughly $2,300 would be owed in copays once insurance paid. We went ahead and set up a payment plan for $200 a month until the balance was paid. My debit card expired in September 2023 so I called then to update the card info (I do not remember who I spoke to at that time but it was not Ellie) we updated the card and went about our business. A couple weeks ago out of the blue the office sent a bill for over $1,600 stating the account was in default and they were going to send to collections. I immediately called the office as this balance should have been paid if not almost paid by this time and spoke to the CFO Maggie, they stated they stopped the payments in December of 2023 and admitted their office had made the error but could not give me an explanation as to why this happened. When I started asking questions about this and why all of the sudden I received this massive bill without being contacted at all prior to this bill Maggie became VERY rude and condesensing and refused to work with us even though this was their offices discrepancy and she even admitted as such (I do have the encounter recorded as my phone is set to record all calls that involve numbers unknown to my contacts list). Needless to say we got sent to collections. I tried contacting the office one last time to see if they would be willing to just take the full payment directly which per Katrina Maggie declined and had to pay the absolutely horrible collection agency (MS services: which was a completely different ordeal on it's own). This office will screw you and does not honor their payment plans!! Please watch out!!

Very clean facility with a pleasant environment and friendly staff! The front desk personnel were straightforward regarding insurance and the billing process, and readily answered any questions I had. I strongly recommend this company!

This was the best experience I have ever had with physical therapy. Their staff is caring and extremely knowledgeable. If you need physical therapy, this is the place you need to go!

In case you ever need Physical Therapy, I'd encourage avoiding North Platte Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapy assistants barely pay attention and have no clue on your care plan - asking ME what to do and for how long, and scrolling on phones or going to other patients versus overseeing my care and form. Worst of all, their billing is inconsistent at best. Jessica Mangus herself was an excellent PT, and is why I stayed in their care as long as I did - but their billing practices are, to me, not worth it. History behind review: I received a large bill after canceling care, despite being told for several appointments prior that nothing was owed. The bill received had amounts unpaid dating back to start of care. I asked for additonal information, and was passed around because many of their staff were new and didn't know how to read the bills. The billing department tried to help but admitted their billing process is hard to explain/understand. After trying to contact back and forth to the different numbers provided several times, i was provided "treatment notes" because my "care plan changed and thats what's different with the billing" (care plan, in fact, had not changed). I received an email that I am not confident was intended for me, with them claiming they've called to collect (they had not) and I was unwilling to pay (not the case at all). I emailed their CEO back who was sent the information mentioned above - who apparently thought I was going to call weeks ago - but no one gave me a number to call! So finally, this all was 'escalated' to the CEO who called me after I explained my concerns that it was never an unwillingness but me trying to understand why the billing seemed so messed up and why I never received a paper billing statement until the ballooned one at the end. The CEO kept repeating 'you signed that you acknowledge your deductible and really we should have been charging you more' when my complaint wasn't not understanding a deductible, it was that I'd been repeatedly told there was no outstanding bill at appointments, to receive a ballooned bill at the end that several staff members couldn't explain to me and that I asked for clarity and a final bill (at the onset of this, insurance was still processing 2 additional dates of service and I had told them I would wait until those cleared and pay all at once to be fully done with it all and I was told that was fine by their Office Manager), that's all. They told me their billing system sometimes takes several months to send a paper statement (they claimed I owed from a separate round of PT from more than 18 months prior despite, again, having asked at every single appointment and never being sent a statement, ever) and that's just how it is. When Lisa Mangus called me, her demanor was simply condescending about what a deductible is (I work in insurance, miss me with the snark) - and that they should have actually been charging more for service. When I tried to explain that the problem wasn't paying my bill, it was not actually ever being explained what is owed and why and for when and that I've been chasing down paperwork from an ever-churning staff, she said she'd send a final bill today and that the girl I worked with had just started. She said they'd look to do more training. The snarky demeanoe from the CEO is disappointing beyond words - I wanted to understand the bill and get a finalized bill to pay - I wasn't asking for reduction or waiver - and it's been dozens of phone calls, emails, and clearly dishonest communication between their staff/departments.
