North Mountain Medical & Rehab Center

As a employee of North mountain medical for the past 2 years I find working here to be enjoyable, there is a professional but relaxed work environment. Employees work together to provide quality care for patients , and the administration does a good job of creating a team atmosphere.

Absolutely recommend! There are so many opportunities to grow here, and of course we do continuous work to make sure our patients are well taken care of! North Mountain has helped with my journey in the healthcare field!

From my personal perspective, this facility caused my grandmother to pass away in a gruesome and undignified way and has permanently scarred me and my family. On May 2, 2023 my father called this facility around 6 am, while on our way to work, and asked them to check on my grandmother and make sure she was well. It was communicated that they would do so. Tucked away in the corner of a room behind a curtain, my grandfather visited my grandmother to find her physically disfigured and unresponsive. He found her this way around 8 am. Shortly after being rushed to John C. Lincoln, me and my family members arrived at the hospital as well. My grandmother was in a critical state, my family in shambles, confused, angry, and feeling helpless. That helplessness morphed into hopelessness when we were told that she would be passing. We watched her pass away in what I can safely describe as a gruesome and undignified way. I'll never unsee that moment and neither will my family. It's traumatic and difficult for us to go after this facility legally. It took me forever to write this review because its emotionally draining and forces me to have to relive that day. Maybe things have changed at this facility since my grandmother's death. With that in mind though, I'd like to warn anyone forced to bring a family member here to keep track of everything with photos, and every interaction you have with recordings because it may save your loved ones life or at least give them their deserved justice. Also, please be aware that many of the reviews here are clearly made by employees and in my opinion more than a couple of the reviews seemed to have been made by people who professionally rate these kinds of rehab centers. I don't wish ill towards this facility. I simply wish that it would have actually aligned its actions with what it claimed to be: a place where my grandmother could "regain (her) strength and mobility and a place (she) could call home".

I have been working at North Mountain for almost 2 months. I enjoy working here because the CNAs the nurses, RT, and caregivers all work together as a team.

We had my dad admitted here several weeks ago after a stay in the hospital for a gallbladder issue. They treated him like a VIP and he was very comfortable there. He stayed 19 days and had great care from the CNA's to the doctors to the administrators. They communicated well and we had no issues. He is in the hospital again now and if he has to go to rehab again, we would choose North Mountain again.

Their Staff and workers understand each other! If there's emergency happened to their patients , they're charge nurses with Doctor's Was alert to help and to solve the patients problems! They are helping each other and have peaceful, with kind hearted! They take good care patients with Loving care! like they're Family member!! That's my unforgettable experienced when I was there!!! 1 year and 7 months ago.

THE STAFF AT THIS FACILITY ARE NOT ONLY OUSTANDING, THEYRE VERY GREAT. From the front office people all the way to the staff that clean our rooms and all in-between. I have at least two or three favorite people in every department. In the front office, I like Alexa, Lauren and jeremy. Nursing staff vie, Susan, Alma. The food is good. Samantha In the kitchen is great! No matter what's wrong with me, they always take care of me big or small. They do a great job regardless. I'd also like to shout out Jaycee, Abel, Juwan, Maria, Crystal, Olivia, Joanna for neing the best CNAs. Amanda in therapy, Brian, Allison in therapy are great! Corina, Ashton, Maverick, and Ariel take my breath away haha just joking they're the best! For nurses: Jessica, Kenneth, Gabriel , Amy, Alisha! I'm probably forgetting someone. The boss of all these fruits and nuts Ashley. Thanks for all you do!
