They are unorganizing. A message to me to call them, and when I do, no one knew why. (More than one occasion.)Neither did I know why, is the recorded conversation said nothing. I have been subscribed prescriptions without seeing a doctor. Now I can't get an appointment till the end of Dec. Am I to take this prescription until my appointment. And they won't answer their phones either. I was on hold for an hour until no, they can't give me a prompt date.

Until Obamacare this place was so quick and easy. Still good thoughts. Covid shut everything down and health care everywhere suffered from resignations about taking that stupid vaccine. The turn over rate is high because many treating medical staff are still in school and when they graduate they move on. Still great service and treatments. Scheduling can be fierce if you want to see your same doctors each time. That's can take months.

I was a patient here for years, but recently made the switch elsewhere as it is such a hassle to get appointment with a primary care physician. The scheduling system just doesn't make any sense (and yes I know they are teaching facility with residents and their schedules change) but to tell me to nearest appoint is July 23rd and I ask for July 28th since I am out of town the week of the 23rd and to be told they're not scheduling that far out yet and for me to call back July 1 to make an appointment for the end of July (maybe if I call at the time before those appointments are full) is just not a sustainable way for patients to schedule appointments. I have really liked all of the providers I have seen at North Country, but they need to revamp their scheduling system to make it more sustainable. The scheduling system is ultimately the reason why I left.

Extremely disappointed in North Country Ob/gyn department. If you are suffering from constant pelvic pain/ pain with sex/ bloating etc do not come here for help. We came here so many times throughout 2023 looking for help, we saw different doctors and each one said something different. The first ultrasound they couldn’t get good images, the second one we did I was in excruciating pain. I kept trying to explain to the dr we would see how much pain the ultrasound caused me, nobody seemed to care or want to prescribe anything to help me from the pain I was in for days after the ultrasound. I kept just being told my pelvic floor is too tight and I have spasms etc. they made me think everything was in my head with the pain. 2024, it has gotten increasingly worse. I finally saw this midwife lady at the facility and she was the only one who thought it could be endometriosis, I left upset that nobody had even mentioned this to me or took the time to care about me. We saw a different doctor the next day and they write so many notes on profile and we had a game plan of Mayo Clinic which ended up being not contracted with my insurance. They didn’t communicate with me that they were going to be sending me to banner, when I called and spoke with the ob/gyn office lady she was no help to me and just kept saying a doctor name it was only through talking to a coordinator they told me about Banner. We were going to just stick with north country and wanted the referral for the mri we discussed in the appointment and we were told we had to come in to talk to her again. I was told she was booked out for another month. Also beware if you have endometriosis she said if she operated and it was in other areas such as bowel she would not be able to remove it. Frustrated as there is endless notes from my visits last year and this year, I feel they wasted my time intentionally and don’t care about my pain truly the way they treated me. Also they did not tell me everything that was reported in the ultrasound, things that we could of gotten more imaging and help done if I had a doctor that cared. It was only through me requesting my patient records I saw the report of the ultrasound. We drove down to Arizona Gynecology Consultants in Mesa where the doctor willingly ordered me an MRI I get in a few days and a consultation to meet the surgeon and find out more details of the operation. I recommend getting help at Arizona Gynecology Consultants and would recommend not to get help at north country because they won’t help you or care. It seems they care when you are physically in the room with them but as soon as you leave don’t expect that they will order or do anything else for you it’s unacceptable. If someone tells you they are having unbearable pain and keep being told to come back in, it’s horrible. Constantly being told they are booked out.

I really like that I was able to schedule an appointment right away that same day. My son had an ear infection and was seen that same morning. We were seen at our scheduled time and didn't have to wait long. The Pharmacy though, took a couple of hours to get his prescription but other than that. It was a quick visit with the nurses and doctor.

Dr. Madeline Wetterhahn is the best OBGYN I’ve ever seen! She explains everything, is thorough, listens to my concerns, and put in my prescription right away. The office professionals are also nice. They were able to schedule me quickly as a new patient and for a follow up. I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences! I feel like I’m in good hands, and that’s such a huge relief.

Worst experience with Michael the behavioral therapist I have been on suboxin and clonozepam for a few years now and he promised he would be able to help me to wing me off the clonozepam even though that’s not what I wanted but he wanted me to completely stop my suboxen cold turkey without any medical supervision or anything, I’m a recovering addict been clean for 6 years now thanks to Mohave mental but then they went to down and found a loving caring place Arizona recovery in lhc…. When I had my follow up appt with Michael he said he would not help me because I picked up my suboxen and to look for help elsewhere I was in bad shape for about 2 weeks all while having a life and work to deal with and guy had no type of empathy and obviously u don’t cut people cold turkey that’s a vwry bad approach and can even make people relapse….

The wait in the lobby is typically minimal for an appointment, which is really nice. Although waiting with a toddler can get dull for them, and I wish there was more toys or activities there. They have a little table, computers that don’t work, and a very worn down wooden toy attached to the wall under the TV. These mildly entertaining pieces could use some updating. For this appointment in particular we did a nurses visit to get some vaccinations. I was a little disappointed because we were not able to get the vaccine we wanted that day. What made up for this was the amazing medical assistant who took care of us that day. She is so sweet and every time I go there I am happy when I see that she’s the one helping us. She has a great personality and really tries to work through problems to get a positive result and make her patients happy.
