North Baldwin Infirmary

Excellent friendly staff. Clean facilities. Location provides care and stabilization for a large rural area spanning two counties with over a 20 mile gap from this location to another hospital. The complex is also a blessing to the area as it allows office space and privileges for specialist and other physicians who will schedule services and appointments for patients here rather than the patients having to manage getting to those home ports. As the staff here told us during our stay ”we are a small country town hospital. We don’t have all the fancy stuff the big ones have but we care and have what we need to provide general care and surgery.” Many of the care team are transplants here from large facilities in nearby areas and afar. Who bring with them the advantage of experience from other places.

I went into North Baldwin Infirmary tonight for side pain Dr. Ahdy Bolis was the doctor there I was feeling really bad and he said I had a bad infection and gave me an antibiotic through iv. And he said there gonna admit me because I was feeling really bad my pulse was 135 and had high blood pressure then he said all my test came out fine. But I was still in pain he didn’t do anything for the pain he said he was gonna admit me then 2 hours later he comes in and says I can go home I got home still in pain vomiting why can’t we just have a good doctor at our hospital that cares instead he’s just going to next patient I am home now with high pulse high blood pressure and shaking all over everyone in Bayminette beware let’s get him out. ………..

Just to write a review I have to give a star but if I could do it without the star I definitely would. My daughter was scheduled to go for an MRI yesterday (Monday December 2nd 2024) and she flipped out well today they rescheduled it for this morning (Tuesday December 3rd 2024) and this time they refused to let me back even though she begged for me to come back and then the nurse LIED to my daughter and told her she would allow me to come back and was VERY rude when she brought her back to me. Everyone who knows me knows I do NOT play when it comes to my children, my daughter was all for it today until the nurse refused to let me back even though they let me yesterday. Thank you North Baldwin Infirmary for being a joke and having some VERY crappy nurses who are not only rude but also lied to my child which caused her to refuse.

I had a late night sickness that prompted an ER visit and a couple of days of staying in the hospital. I can’t thank the staff enough at North Baldwin for the swiftness of care, the ability of comfort that they were able to give, and just the overall demeanor of everyone I came in contact with. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of (and also make sure my wife was comfortable staying with me). I didn’t get to thank everyone, but I hope this shuffles to someone’s hands that can’t do that for me.

I had surgery on June 14th. I want to thank everyone. Staff, phlebotomist, Nurses, Dr's, everyone was so nice. My surgery went well. Thank you for making my surgery and recovery easy. I would definitely go back if needed.

Couldn’t have chosen a better place than NBI. Special thanks to the birthing and surgery department. I rate a 5 in my personal experience. From the Dr., nurses, and even the cleaning department were so caring and treated me very well. God Bless you all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #NBI

North Baldwin Infirmary I went to NBI er 5/8/24 in severe respiratory distress.NOTE: I have full insurance. Was treated in er for 10 hrs and admitted for 5 days.chest xray, steroids, antibiotics. Never a ct. WBC 2.5x normal. Very Little if any progress made. I am now home and just as sick as I was. WBC is 2 x normal. Very disappointed in our level of care at local Infirmary affiliated hospital. Also, my personal Dr. UDDIN NEVER CHECKED ON ME. I must point out that I had some of the most amazing, caring nurses that could possibly have. They really care about their jobs and did not hesitate rushing to ER when mass shooting occurred Sat. Night. There has got to be a grading and accountability of care system for hospitals. They charge the same but provide varying levels of care for same price. I must now make plans to travel to Mobile to try and receive a legitimate level of care.

LOL THEY DELULSIONAL AS HELL!!!! WHAT I LOOK LIKE PAYING A $500 BILL FOR SITTING AND WASTING TIME FOR 2 HOURS WAITING ON A DOCTOR AND GET THIS, DIDN'T PRESCRIBE ME ANY MEDICATION AND I HAD THE FLU. TALKING ABOUT CONTINUING TAKING OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINE LIKE ITS GOING TO WORK AND I SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT NOTHINGS WORKING. COMMON SENSE!!! YALL DOCTORS ARE PITIFUL AND JUST WON'T MONEY OUT OF FOLKS, WELL NOT PAYING THIS STUPID BILL.
