The food served has little or no nutritional value. Those with diabetes and recovering from surgery and trying to regain their health need FIBER from vegetables, beans and legumes, and fresh whole fruit, not pork chops, white bread and canned food (i.e. the SAD diet - "standard American diet"!!! Obviously the dietitian needs to be updated on current dietary recommendations. Most of the nurses are very good.

Don’t expect much from this place. The rooms are so depressing. Showers are not large enough for wheelchairs. No place for physical therapy. All they do is push you down the hallway or put you in a chair and leave you alone for two hours. So pathetic. The case manager was horrible. Only saw case manager one time and no help with discharge. The nurses seemed overloaded and same with respiratory. Do not leave your loved one alone here. Unfortunately not many places to go to in Dothan.

So grateful for Noland!!! My Mom was there and got great care. It was one of the few places she felt safe and relaxed She made some big steps toward recovery. The staff is Awesome!!!! They genuinely love and care for their patients. She got outstanding care while there! They loved her so well. We are forever grateful!!!

My daughter is currently in this hospital. From the first night she's had very slow to respond nurses. They're some awesome nurses but very few and far between. I'm at her bedside and I see how her calls for help are ignored.. I'm going to call her insurance Monday morning and discuss options for her to be moved from here. Amended review from 1-3 stars. Physical and occupational therapists were great and played a significant part in my daughters recovery. The respiratory therapists are awesome! They provide a very supportive environment for my daughter to be weaned from the vent! The doctors and PA was great! My initial review of the nurses did improve however laying 6 hours in her stool is absolutely unacceptable! She called for help multiple times with no response until shift change. Please administrator..... Either educate your staff on timely responses or hire additional staff.

The people are good for the most part. If you need a surgical procedure apparently it doesn’t get scheduled. They just do it whenever the surgeon feels like it. Today, tomorrow or the next maybe.

My husband is in Noland Hospital right now and has been here for a week. Thanks to their attentive CARE he will be going home tomorrow. The doctors, Weavers, Doty, Rovie, especially ... the nursing staff so ready and willing to CHEERFULLY help ... to the cleaning staff who ensure the rooms are clean ... NEVER did I hear one time "it's not my job". I really truly believe that after a month in another hospital where I feel they had given up on him, the best thing they did was sending him to this Noland hospital, with their attentiveness and God's healing hands miracles still do happen!

THE WORST place! My dad was there after surgery and had Postoperative delirium. On top of that he was not able to swallow so a feeding tube had to be put in. He was so confused that he did take the feeding tube out so their solution was to tether him to the bed! And they kept him that way over 3 weeks continually! Their remedy to make their job easier! I was there a day and not a single staff came into his room to empty his foley bag, swab his mouth, physical therapy check on him nothing for 6 hours! They kept walking by the room like it did not exist. If you are unable to speak for your self they will leave you to your own devices and forget about you! After 2 days of this I finally demanded they do their job or I was going to get a lawyer! I understand you are under staffed but that still does not give you the right to make a person suffer! I was doing their job and was still greeted with rude attitudes!I feel for those who do not have an advocate to fight for their loved ones! They need to be audited retrained in patient care, bring back sympathy and empathy! If you do not like your job find another one that doesn’t involve patient care!
