Nicole E. Shenk, PT

Ms. Shenk is thorough, knowledgeable, innovative, and efficificient. I was a patient in the Virginia Hospital Center's Therapy Gym of the Inpatient Rehab Center. I had an above-the-knee amputation on my right leg, and two weeks after the final operation, I was doing standard physical therapy, with reps and walking distance emphasized more than technique. However, Ms. Shenk took a forward-thinking approach, and incorporated breathing yoga posesand props into the therapy. She also patiently instructed me how to apply my bandages, and made sure that I understood everything that she taught me. I would highly recommend Nicole Shenk as a competent, caring, and compassionate physical therapist.
