Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

I have gone there to visit my mother approximately 8-9 times over the past 7 weeks or so. The facility and grounds are beautiful; the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive; and the food is good too. My 88 year old mother was in a similar rehabilitation center about 10 months prior, for the same reason: broken pelvis; and the difference between the two are beyond comparison. Happy Camper💛

A Nursing & Rehabilitation Paradise at Newport Beach An amazing experience of a successful rehabilitation! A few months ago I had a total spinal !vertebrae fusion surgery at Hoag HOI. While or after surgery, an acute flared up of fibromyalgia raised. I requested & was transferred to Newport Nsg & Rehab Center. My over 10 weeks rehabilitation at Newport Nsg & Rehab Center was of a great success. * Been at Newport Nsg & Rehab Center has been a heaven, their anticipation of the future scheduled residents needs as well as the needed comfort on their well-being & safety. * Top notch nursing staff are well praised for their care, leadership, hard work & professionalism was a real success. *The staying at the Newport Nsg & Rehab Center was a life experience of what nursing & physical rehabilitation should be with a 24/7 first class caring and professional nursing staffing and daily physical & occupational therapy second to none. * It’s a place of higher standards & well recognized nursing rehab center that has set up the rehabilitation bar too high to be emulated. *The resilience and coordination of all residents daily basic activities, all nursing tasks, their daily rehabilitation and outside scheduled doctors appointments as well as the Social & Cultural activities, a must for all residents mental hygiene, were exceptional. *All different departments interactions were very smoothly with each others, with not harm to residents and efficiently assisting to all residents. *The nursing staffs are all top notch, well praised for their professional care & hard work and leadership on any emergency as well as theirs Physical & Occupational therapists, second to none for their amazing results. * The constantly restlessness and highly performance of the CNA’s were of an exceptional respect to residents privacy, professionalism and consideration to others, their carelessness are the best, always ready to assist without any hesitation at the push of the call bell button. * My hat to all the staffing as well to including the Environmental Dept for their upmost safety attentions to details and consideration to residents safety & respect. * All the staffs should be praised for their magnificent standard procedure and guidances followers. * The Hoag Hospital at Irvine’ HOI surgeon didn’t expect me to make it and after the acute flared up of fibromyalgia I didn’t expect to make neither but Newport Nsg & Rehabilitation Center made it possible. * As a military retired nurse, TX licensed instructor at the US Army Academy of Health Sciences teaching LVN’s courses and nursing evaluator of the US Army Reserve’s Nursing Schools and their training around 15 states beside nursing manager at different level at military Medical Centers as well as Chief Wardmaster of the 31st Combat Support Hospital at Fort Bliss, TX, it was an honor and real pleasure to be a resident here for my successfully rehabilitation. *For that I will for ever be so grateful of each & all their staffs to includes Administrative staffers.🙏👌👍👏

The front desk receptionist greeted us with a smile, asked us who we were there to see, and then asked us to enter our information on the computer screen. She was very helpful in guiding us to our friend’s room. While we were there, we met the head of the PT department; she was very friendly and gave our friend some tips on her bed position and exercises to do throughout the day to help with the stiffness of her leg. We also met a gal who came in to do her BP and another gal to test her for diabetes. Everyone seemed efficient and friendly; the business was very clean!

My first time at this facility and our overall experience on my mother's first day was great! The staff, starting with the front desk, was very welcoming, and the overall feeling continued with your nursing staff. This is a much better place then we have been in the past. It's only her first day, however she has been very impressed so far ! 👏

Fantastic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Skilled Nurses, and an EXCELLENT care giving staff 247!!! The outdoor gardens are beautifully maintained and lined with rose bushes everywhere.

We checked my mom in today and everyone couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. I requested my mom be placed at this facility knowing how well they treated my mother in law in the past. We are thrilled to have my mom in such a clean and comfortable location.

I have been here 5 weeks, this week. The Staff is a 10..they are engaging & enjoy there jobs. They all work toward, your rehabilitation & make sure they are addressing any needs you may have. The food is a thee to four star..( needs a little broader menu, ) but good . The place is the cleanest I have been in. As I have been in four different ones ,from a bad stroke. I would highly recommend this as a short term rehab location.

I was greeted warmly, assisted at check-in, and directed where to go with a smile. I am grateful to God for the staff and the care they give to a congregant. Pastor Jason
