I would like to strongly recommend anyone that needs physical therapy to visit Newcare in Suwanee, Georgia. It is unlike your traditional physical therapy facilities; it is organized, clean, and calm. Within minutes of speaking with Dr. Shin, you’ll have a confidence you are in the right place. He is professional, and truly cares about your understanding what’s going on with your condition, and after his assessment, he will share how he intends to map out your plan of recovery. He doesn’t just throw you on pieces of equipment, hoping you know how to work them or get busy and forget you. The staff or enormously courteous, from the moment you walk in until you leave. If you need to get well, this is your place.

If you’re in pain, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Michael! I’ve had 15 physical therapy appointments with Dr. Michael over the last 3 months to treat ankle and foot injuries. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My strength has improved and my pain has decreased thanks to our sessions together. Additionally, he has a great staff that I enjoy interacting with.

Came here after going to the gp next door for back pain. Everyone is great, super easy to work with, and a nice chill environment for what can sometimes be an uncomfortable process. Hopefully I don’t have to go back haha, but if I do, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose newcare again

I came to Dr. Shin because of the stellar Google reviews and I am so glad to add to the praise. I had a pretty bad ankle sprain and was really concerned about how long it might take me to both get scheduled for appointments and ultimately recover. Much to my delight I was able to be seen right away and with the ease of scheduling and careful progression of exercises and treatment I am well on my way to full recovery. Everyone on staff is friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and great to work with. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of physical therapy. I hope to not injure myself again, but if I do need PT for any reason in the future I know where I will go!

Probably the nicest doctor's office I have ever been to. Very efficient and attentive. My shoulder improved much more than I had hoped for. (My age is a factor there.) They keep you busy while you are there-never a slow moment. Expect to work hard during your session. Could only give them the highest rating possible.

It’s been months since I completed rehab for my knee at Newcare and I still have no pain. Before starting Newcare, I had constant inflammation and was barely able to make it up my driveway and around my house. By my third session, I noticed improvement. They provided great care at the location and even gave me exercises to do at home between appointments. The staff is excellent from Sarah at the front desk, to the doctors, to the assistants, especially Tyson (although he has terrible taste in football teams). Very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Hopefully, I will never need PT again but if I do, it will definitely be at Newcare. 100% recommend.

My dad is 78 years old and his TMJ was really bothering him. He couldn't open his mouth wide enough to eat normally, until he saw Dr. Shin. I didn't expect too much and was only hoping that his symptom could be improved to some extent. However, Newcare and Dr. Shin completely treated his problem. Everything is back to normal now. My dad said he cannot even feel that his TMJ problem ever happened. He cannot be happier about the results. Thank you, Dr. Shin, and Newcare!
