If you can help it, go anywhere else! The staff is in constant rotation, they dont file paperwork when you need it, you have to constantly call to get what you need, they reschedule appointments repeatedly and the the physicians don't really seem to care! Annoyed!!!

Absolutely horrible staffing along with inconsiderate doctors that seem only there because that is the last place that are willing to hire them.

I rarely ever post a review...BUT I feel the need to do so, based upon reviews of New York Physical Medicine Center. I had my first appointment 4ish months ago and am always hesitant to visit any new office. Went to follow up today. I saw the newer PA, that I believe some reviews complained about. Was anxious to even attend... (take every strangers advice with many grains of salt) I was beyond satisfied with the information, listening and understanding I received! Mark took the time to explain all aspects of my pain, in a way no other provider has done before.

New Pain Management specialist. I found that he listens too fast and is forming rebuttals while you are still speaking. He may do this because he extolls he has served over 10,000 patients and he knows what the patient is going to say next. I believe whether you are running behind on the first patient and are playing catch up - you need to actively listen to their questions and concerns. The specialist I had before Ihim I had the time to work with and build a professional relationship with and we did well together. I pray I get the opportunity to do the same with this man in short order.

Dr Masaba, Jamie, and Mark are all Excellent! Greg - Physical Therapist knows his stuff, and I went through 36 weeks of physical therapy - 6 weeks before surgery! Lissette and Wanda are the best Office staff ever! Very caring and compassionate! God Bless these folks because they care about their patients!

I am on web. I fell called there office and told them. I was given an appt for middle of January 2024. I have a fractured knee. There PA Jamie thinks sheβs a doctor. Definitely not even close.

A patient since 2007. Office was disorganized early on but became better. Original providers were good. Presently PA does nothing for me but push surgery. My cases are WC. He won't write a prescription or order anything. When asked what assistive devices are covered under worker's comp he says he doesn't know. When asked what pain meds are available to me? He says it's all "over the counter". When asked what therapies I can have? He says there are none. Just sits there legs crossed swinging his foot. He doesn't even provide a physical assessment of the progression of my conditions. When I asked, "How are you managing my pain?", his reply was, "we are seeing you in the office ."!!! I've seen Dr. Masaba about 3 times., maybe, if that. This place is a "dead end"!. If you don't agree to surgery, they give up on you. I needed 12 screws, 2 rods and 12 cages, warned I may not survive the surgery and if I do, possibility of loose hardware, infection, pneumonia and very limited mobility, at 70 years of age. πππ

New patient experience with Dr Masaba was overall very positive. Office staff friendly and organized- never felt rushed, Dr Masaba was very generous with his time, not spending it on his computer but answering my questions and reviewing my history and developing my plan forward.
