I have had the experience of working with Patrick Ethel-King for the past 10-12 years in a professional capacity. He has been the only evaluator that I have used in my job as eligibility specialist assisting people to apply for Developmental Disability Services. I have witnessed his caring and compassion first hand with putting people at ease during a stressful time. His evaluations have always been impeccable and received in a timely manner. I have also found him to be very responsive to follow up questions. As I retire my replacement will continue to utilize Patrick moving forward. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has truly been a pleasure to work with! I have always found his support staff to be very responsive and professional as well and helpful when arranging appointments. It has been a pleasure working with the whole team.

Melodie is kind, patient, attentive and thorough. She creates an environment where kids feel comfortable and look forward to going back! She gives tools to caregivers so they can continue to work on skills at home.

Dr. Patrick Ethel-King was a pleasure to work with. He was patient, funny and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly before we proceeded. Our time working with Dr. Patrick Ethel-King has truly been a wonderful experience. From our first meeting with him you could tell he cares deeply about the program and the kids involved. Our son started showing improvement dealing with social settings almost immediately which we attest to the learning environment Dr. King creates for his program. We were thrilled with the progress our son has made. We're looking forward to continuing classes and seeing even more progress.

New Horizons Wellness Services is an amazing place! Occupational Therapist, Melodie has been an OT for 30 years and her experience really shows. She take into consideration all of the parent and child concerns during therapy sessions. She is thoughtful of the process and explains why she is doing things. It's great to know that the progress that kids make in sessions is going to help at home and at school. The clinic is top notch, the process and communication is great. I am so grateful to this clinic for helping kids in our community and to Melodie for her commitment to excellent therapy.

Dr. Patrick Ethel-King and his staff are extremely professional and compassionate. Dr. Ethel-King is easy to talk to and very personable. He explained the entire process in detail and made me feel very comfortable. The analysis and feedback that I received were in-depth and thoughtful. He also provided me with practical tools and recommendations to help me reach my goals. I highly recommend Dr. Ethel-King and his team.

Disorganized and rude. It took almost a year to get established and evaluated. First, we were told four-month waitlist. Then it turned into six. Finally, after 7 months we had an intake. At every step we experienced poor communication- one visit cancelled with no notice, they lost our paperwork, billing snafu that we needed to chase down, difficulty in getting them to follow through with ROI or diagnoses, and a ridiculously hostile clinician at every step of the way. My teenage son felt zero rapport with Dr. Ethel-King, and this is a kid used to working with lots of different medical professionals (as are his parents), as he just finished cancer treatment. Both parents felt Dr. Ethel-King was dismissive and condescending. My one observation at intake, was that Dr. Ethel-King was abrupt and had a confrontational tone with my son. Somewhat demanding to know his concerns, rather than engaging in conversation. In the end, the clinician just wanted to get paid, more than anything else. Once the bill was settled, he wiped his hands of us, and we are on our own to seek treatment. There was no appointment to discuss the report. We just got our results and left, and will go elsewhere for treatment. I would avoid this practice, as there is little regard for the patient. If you have any concerns, be prepared for a hostile response. It feels like a money-haul operation, and that’s about it.

Dr Ethel King and Melodie Ethel King are a dynamic duo that have helped so many of my patients and their families. They practice with kindness and compassion. Most importantly, they get results for my patients.
