Best clinic I’ve been to. Clean, quiet, staff is amazing and go above and beyond. Especially Fran, she is so good at her job. Genuinely enjoy coming here and seeing them. My only thing is like to change is update the hours online and the answering service, they take. A little bit to get back to you bc the calls are forwarded first. But other than that I enjoy being a client here. Def. Recommend if you’re in the New Haven area or Bridgeport.

Great program if you want sobriety. New Era is the best clinic in Ct. They have 2 of the best counselors and the best people in the clinic. I have been here at least 15 years. A long time and I am so grateful to them. Stay clean and stay safe!!!!

I just started here today! Everyone was so kind. They even fit me in last minute for intake because I was doing my best to stay in withdrawal. I look forward to my new journey in sobriety.

Hi, l have been on this program quite awhile. But been clean of Heroin for 25yrs. But still go for groups. The counselors are wonderful. I had Carol for a time, she helped me alot. Now l have Francesca, and l find my self comfortable being direct and honest with her as well. It's the best thing l have done. I'm not clean totally. I'm 65 and alone. The program gives me support and love thank you

I've been at the New Haven clinic for a few years now. I gave a 3 star review because there are some good things about this clinic and some not-so-good things. The good things are; It's a small clinic. You come in, get your meds and leave. There are not a lot of people around doing nefarious things as in some other clinics (APT). It's on the bus line (like most are) so it's easy to get to. There are some really nice counselors there, especially my counselor, Carol, who really does all she can to help her clients. The bad things. They offer benzo prescriptions right in the clinic. This is hard for people who are still having a hard time resisting temptation because benzos mixed with methadone produces an extremely desirable effect (which they are aware of, hence the money-making benzo operation.) There is a degree of inefficiency as well as incompetence that is, at times, maddening. Finally, privileges earned must be fought for. For instance, when I became eligible for take home bottles, I had to complain, bring it up multiple times and really be assertive to get what I had rightfully earned. They were not just given to me. The squeaky wheel gets the grease here. All in all, I would say it is a better alternative than the other clinics around that I have been to (at least for me). You must weigh the pros and cons to see if this clinic is the right fit for you.

Well I am very surprised how they are helping my husband I can't even believe how fast they are I been going through a lot at last found a place that are willing to help him in any way possible the staff are very good and on point like I can't stop saying THANK YOUS ALL FOR REAL they move so fast that he even got to see a psychiatrist the next day thank you so much

An amazing place to be if in need to be free from the addiction lifestyles. Your treated like a person and not just another drug addict. Much respect for new era. They have completely changed my life for the best. Thank you!!!
