Desert Storm combat veteran who was seen for a GERD evaluation as symptoms were worsening. Prior to this examination with this VA contracted provider, I had a 30% disability rating for GERD from the VA but a week and half later my rating was lowered to 10% as a result of this "examination". This examination lasted no more than 10 minutes instead of the normal 45 minutes for a Comp & Pen examination. I felt like I was rushed out the door. They did not provide an explanation as to a possible reason why my rating would be lowered. The reason for the appointment was due to worsening symptoms, not an improvement of my symptoms. It would had lasted less had I not request to read off the worsening issues. As well as not having a detailed discussion as to what would cause these issues to worsen. It is EXTREMELY infuriating that this provider lowered my rating and undermined the diagnosis of a previous medical provider who provided a better service by being thorough with their diagnosis and showed care and respect to their patients. Although she stated that she works for the veterans and not he VA, I felt this was a disservice given to me and to many other Veterans trying to get better medical care.

A family member was with us in the Crawford area this summer when she accidentally overdosed on some of her Rx's. Jenny was helpful and caring with excellent suggestions.

We both consult Jenny regularly for health issues and questions. She is caring, direct and she listens. 'Nuff said.
