I cannot recommend this group of professionals highly enough. When I came to them, I had a short window of time to rehabilitate my neck after receiving an epidural for a pinched nerve. Carefully, meticulously, and kindly they helped put me back together. It's been two years since my treatments and I have remained fit and pain free. This is the best long term solution I ever invested my time and energy in. Make the appointment and get on the road to recovery.

I only need to come here every year or so when I throw out my back or neck. I love that they have never pressured me into doing treatments that require coming in twice a week for two years unlike other chiropractors I’ve been to in the past. The staff is always so friendly and the doctor always gets rid of my pain every time. I recommend this place 1000% to everyone.

I highly recommend Neck and Back Medical Center. They have helped me tremendously with my neck and shoulder pain, as well as my headaches. Everyone there, from the management to the front desk to the therapists are caring, knowledgeable and professional. The medical doctor, chiropractor and physical therapist develop a customized program for each patient using their state of the art computerized equipment. As they say “no drugs, no surgery”. After trying a variety of other treatments I can say this is the best!

I've been seeing Dr Sklar for Prolotherapy Injection treatments (referral from Dr. Erica Scott of Healing Integrations, a Physical Therapist in Costa Mesa). This is a more "natural" muscle + joint pain relief and healing injection using Dextrose, Saline, and Anthestic, a longer term alternative compared to the short term cortisone shot. Apparently these shots in most places that have them can cost half a thousand total dollars, depending on how many you get a session. Thankfully Dr. Sklar is quite nice and offers a flat fee of around $220 per session, and he will happily do shots in 12-18 areas depending on what he think you need. Sadly these injections are NOT covered by insurance but that's universal. The shots have been a bit helpful in somewhat long term pain relief but some areas require 2-3 shots that are particularly inflamed. For example my mid back and hips have required 3 shots. And I still need to go my physical therapist Erica Scott. That said generally I've had positive experiences with the front office and Dr Sklar himself personality wise.

First appt & PT staff no showed. Waited 20 minutes—nothing. Office admin just laughed and gave me the I dont know where they are. Hehe UGH very unprofessional!

I see Dr. Jewett when I need an adjustment after a tweak or an ache comes up. He is amazing with his bedside manner and always letting me know what he is doing and he sees is the issue. I can usually get in the same day and appreciate the accommodating and flexibility in scheduling. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasure to continue to come to Neck & Back Medical Center for so many years. I definitely will continue to come and be a patient and recommend others visit for their chiropractic needs.

This place is the best Physical Therapy that I've ever been! All members are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Front desk kudos as well for being so nice. Best experience ever! I would dearly recommend to anyone in need of physical therapy!

We are fortunate to have such a well-equipped place in Orange County for physical therapy. Everyone who works there is skilled at what they do and always friendly and pleasant. Over ten years ago the disc decompression treatments I got at Neck & Back cured me of sciatica. It has never returned since. Since then I’ve returned for other treatments of other ailments and always found it helpful.
