Nature Trail Health and Rehab Center

I definitely recommend this Rehabilitation and nursing home! The workers AND residents are so kind and sweet. This is by far my favorite job ever. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiling faces and open loving arms. I have only been here about a week and everyone has treated me like I’ve been here years. Very comfortable and caring facility. The residents are so caring and sweet it really makes the whole experience worth it working here.

Nature Trails Health & Rehab Centers provides exceptional care and support for individuals in need of rehabilitation services. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff here are truly dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to ensure the comfort and well-being of their patients. Not only are they tremendous with their patience, but they are also an integral part of our community. They continually support local ministries (like FCA) that are geared to make the community of Mt Vernon a better place.

Summer never disappoints! She is extremely aware of her surroundings and always there to help before being asked. I love visiting when she is working my dad’s hall.

Friendly, professional, and highly skilled are some of the words that come to mind when I think of the Nature Trail family. This place goes above 5 stars and I’m proud to be part of the Nature Trail team.

My grandpa is currently there for rehab and I can’t say enough about the workers! Everyone is great and is very attentive to my grandpas needs! Susie the director is the best director I have come across in a long time. I have seen plenty being in the medical field myself! She will even get on the floor to help staff! Highly recommend

I am very appreciative of the entire staff. I feel like Greg is home there. He has adjusted very well.

Overall I really like Nature Trail. My mom has been in there for several months due to covid related issues and has been doing rehab there. The nurses all seem very kind and I especially love the Activities Director, Linda. She is very fun and silly and all of the residents love her. My only real issue with Nature Trail is that they lose and misplace a lot of the stuff that I sent in for my mom (as well as my dad when he was in there recently too.) I understand clothing being mixed up due to how many people there are in there when it goes to be washed, but how are they so bad at misplacing nearly everything else even when it has the resident's name on it? That I don't understand, but it is what it is, I guess. Overall I would highly recommend Nature Trail though, as they have a good staff of people who genuinely care about their residents. They helped my Dad get back on his feet and they are progressing my Mom towards the same.

The staff was very warm & helpful in planning a visit with my friend staying at the facility. They were careful with check in to minimize the danger of people with Covid entering the facility & followed all the rules to. “T”. Don’t think my friend would get better care anywhere. 😀😀
