I am truly disappointed to share this review, as my experience at this clinic has been far from what I had hoped for. Dr. Lorence is an exceptional chiropractor, and I believe his care is outstanding. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and communication from the receptionist and billing department has left me feeling disheartened and frustrated. Earlier this year, while pregnant and suffering from severe HG (morning sickness), I sought chiropractic and massage therapy to help manage my symptoms. During this time, I experienced issues with my phone service after purchasing a new device, which left me without a working number for several days. As a result, I missed both of my appointments for chiropractic care and massage therapy, which had been scheduled for the same day and time. I promptly reached out to the clinic, explained the situation, and provided my new phone number. When I first spoke with the receptionist, she acknowledged that I had never missed an appointment before and assured me that, given the circumstances, it shouldn't be an issue to waive the $150 fee. While I understood that waiving the fee was ultimately their decision, my main concern was the lack of follow-up. Despite being told multiple times that someone from the billing department would reach out to me, I never received any communication. My continued calls were not driven by a desire to have the bill waived, but by the repeated assurances that someone would be in touch with me, which never happened. After several attempts on my part, one of the charges was eventually waived, but the other remained unresolved. The situation became even more disheartening when I sought to return to the clinic after giving birth on October 3, following a traumatic delivery at 28 weeks, and then being involved in a car accident caused by a drunk driver just 7 days ago. Given my circumstances, I hoped Dr. Lorence could help with my recovery. However, my experience with the receptionist and billing staff was deeply disappointing. After confirming my identity, the receptionist said she would speak to billing, but the call was abruptly disconnected. I called back several times, only to have the phone repeatedly hung up on me. When I finally spoke with someone, I was met with blatant laughter, dismissive behavior and a lack of empathy, which was especially hurtful considering the personal challenges I was facing. I even inquired if I had done something to insult or offend anyone because I couldn't comprehend why I was being treated so horribly. The receptions laughed, and dismissively said no with amusement. Eventually, I was told that the remaining bill would be waived, but despite this assurance, I later received an email today stating that I still owed the amount. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I understand that billing and administrative matters can be complicated, but the lack of follow-through and communication was the primary issue. While Dr. Lorence’s care is truly excellent, the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy from the receptionist and billing department have made it difficult for me to recommend this clinic. I feel that my concerns were not addressed with the respect and professionalism I expected, and that has overshadowed what could have otherwise been a positive experience.

I’ve been a patient at natural health center for about 20 years now. I can confidently say that accupuncture with Sy has changed my life. He has helped with anxiety and mental health. He’s helped with both of my pregnancies, likely preventing me from being hospitalized with pre eclampsia. And he’s helped me with multiple foot surgeries to restore circulation and reduced my healing time significantly to the point the surgeon asked me what I did to heal so fast. I also love both the chiropractors at NHC and all the massage therapists. Also amazing that everything is covered by insurance. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I have had so many issues with their billing department! They do not know how to bill insurance and I always owe more here than any other chiropractic or massage therapist. The massage therapist range from good to really bad, and now I am paying almost $200 for a bad massage when it should be covered under insurance. I had similar issues with my chiropractic visit last year and ended up just paying so I didn't have to deal with them anymore. Unfortunately I will not go back because their services are not worth months of phone calls to insurance to figure out their billing issues.

I wanted to write this review to commend the exemplary services provided to me by the Natural Health Center's Massage Therapist Kelly Seeley. Given that I have suffered severe neck and back pain due to several years of strenuous military obligations, Seeley has made it her goal to alleviate my physical woes by performing excellent massage techniques to relieve me of chronic lumbago and cervicalgia. Her initiative to incorporate the use of cupping, deep tissue massage and astute attention to detail has proven to me that she is a master of her craft and takes great pride in her profession. As another testament to her role as a professional massage therapist, Seeley has provided me with tips and recommendations to alleviate aches and pains on my personal time by performing self-stretches as well as unique exercises unbeknownst to myself. I appreciate engaging in small talk with Seeley during my sessions as she is definitely an ear to bend when I am in need to vent life's frustrations; above all else, Seeley is a person you can count on to provide outstanding service while also being a person you can count on to provide professional massage services. If you're ever seeking massage therapist needs and you are in the Anchorager area, be sure to seek out Kelly Seeley with the Natural Health Center. You will not be disappointed but rather relieved and physically pain free.

Was always trying to to self diagnose myself. Finally coming to a point in my life , I need a doctor. And to get these things done that I can not do on my own. Very patient, professional, and kind staff. It is really easy to schedule, message providers through the online portal and get a quick response. The facility is also clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

Seriously the nicest staff, they have your back, no front desk gatekeepers here. Dr. Dreyer, Dr. Clement, Kelly Cate, and all the women at the front desk have my eternal gratitude for their kindness and skills they have blessed me with.

Lily George is absolutely incredible. Such a compassionate and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner. I specifically came to her because of her specializing in Endocrinology, she did not disappoint! Really, the entire staff here is so warm and welcoming, scheduling isn’t an issue either. I love Natural Health Center!
