Nathaniel Witherell

I would not recommend this place to other family or friends. Their level of care is sub-par to that of other local rehabilitation facilities. Too many negatives to write on here. but always short-staffed and when they have staff, they are not helpful when a patient buzes them. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere.

Just recently had a relative pass away here and I truly could not believe the way the staff packed up my love ones belongings. Not only did I not receive a call due to misinformation on the contact list, but when I went to retrieve my relatives items not only was everything thrown in trash bags and the most flimsy cardboard boxes, but they threw an entire LIVE plant in the bag with my relatives stuff. Dirt, wet soil all over their belongings. Check the picture that’s the live rootball in with the American flag. Classless.

I was visiting my aunt the other day we were in the dining room, and I noticed in the corner on the floor. There was a mouse running around out in the open, and no one did anything about it. This place has really went downhill from years ago. The people that live in Greenwich or just think that this place is good because it’s in Greenwich and it’s very expensive it is a dirty place so if you want to have your loved ones living with rats and mice send them over to live at Nathaniel Witherell. It’s very sad of the seniors have no clue what they are living with or were. Please take good care of your love ones like they did to you!!♥️

Was looking for a rehabilitation center for my father-in-law and decided to check out Nathaniel Witherell. Upon arrival I didn’t find parking for over 30 minutes. When I finally got inside I was greeted with a very rundown facility. Spider webs in the windows, out of date furniture, and even mice running around in the corner. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy

They have a cockatiel, sweetie, that they keep in a display case and do not give water. Please take them to the vet and to a loving home. Do not support this place.

Highly recommend this facility for short term rehab and skilled nursing. Clean facility with responsive friendly staff who provide excellent care. Beautiful location, great PT and meals. Private in room shower.

Friendly staff, was a nice place to take lunch break while employed in Greenwich during December 2019; plenty of parking.

Send your loved one here if you really dislike him/her. My poor father in law was here for rehab which never happened. They just let him lie in bed all day long, never assisting him in changing clothes for the day. It took my infirm mother in law screaming down the hallway from her wheelchair “help me!!” To get a nurse to help him after they’d ignored the help alarm for 20 min. There were three nurses chatting in the break room though. When he passed the person who called had the bedside manner of Dr Joseph Mengele who said “your father in law expired at 7am this morning”. I’m sorry? “Expired”? Food expires, medicine expires. People don’t. They also threw out all of his get well cards from his children and grandchildren. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this dump.
