Natchez Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

Hello. I must say that each time I visit Natchez Rehabilitation, it is a pleasure. The staff is always welcoming and are continuously meeting the needs of our loved ones. Not only are the patients looking and smelling clean, but the facilities are as well. The food looks like my home cooked meals. You are doing such a great job in the care of your patients. Also, seeing Ms. Johnson visiting the patients was an added fulfillment of my visit.

The workers are nice. The building is clean. I like that they have activities for the patients who want to participate to do. Melva and the young lady who works with doing activities are doing a great job. If they have some patients who want to go outside on the porch or just want to take a smoke break. Someone takes them out. I talking to the patients.

All the staff in the building are so nice and welcoming! They care deeply about the well-being of all their residents! 100% recommend this facility for anyone who needs their loved ones taken care of!

I'm appalled and quite disconsolate that this facility is even allowed to be open. My great grandfather who requires specialized wound care was here for what I'd venture to say was less than a month and I was absolutely disgusted with both the treatment of the residents and the unprofessional and negligent tendencies of the staff. His wound care nurse was blatantly rude to both my grandmother and myself when we became inquisitive about his well-being and the facility director's attitude was equally rotten. My uncle arrived for visitation one day and spotted an older resident lying on the floor and crying for what we could only assume had been an extended amount of time. It was not at all uncommon for me to take visitation with my grandfather only to find his bed covered in food crumbs from the previous day and perishable food items that I had brought from prior visits left out within his reach to spoil. The cold and depressing atmosphere is only worsened by the visible negligence and unhygienic accommodations (and accommodating they most certainly were not). If it were possible for me to give negative stars, I wouldn't hesitate.

This is a very nice and caring healthcare facility. The staff appear to be very attentive to the residents so that they are cared for in a proper and loving manner. The Administration staff is very professional and loving as well. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

This place is abysmal. My father was admitted after suffering a stroke and moved to step down care after making good progress with PT at the hospital. The goal was to get enough therapy to hopefully come home in a short time. Due to “covid” the family was not allowed to visit for more than 20 mins a few days a week and no weekends. I’m quite positive they didn’t want us there so you could not see the abuse and neglect taking place. The staff was rude at best, not a lick of empathy or compassion shown. My father, who was bed bound, was denied basic necessities such as water. They staff refused to help him when he asked and told him to shut up asking for things unless it was an emergency. He was scared and alone and they felt the need to treat him like he was barely human!! He got dehydrated and had to be taken to the hospital, which set him back with PT and caused further decline. The place is run down and unfit for patients to be housed there. It should be shut down, fully renovated or bulldozed and start over. The staff should be fired. Find nurses who want to help their patients and are capable of expressing concern and compassion for their fellow man. There is no good option for long term care in Natchez, which is embarrassing and ridiculous. Do better!! We opted to bring him home on hospice instead of leave there where he would be left to die.

My mom has been there three months now and while no place is perfect I wouldn’t want her to go anywhere else. Everyone has been super sweet and helpful from the office staff to the nurses even housekeeping.

Highly recommend this facility. The staff here are amazing. Very friendly and professional! I could tell the staff really care about their residents and ensure they are being taken care of in the best ways possible. 10 out of 10
