She listens, understands, makes appropriate recommendations based on need and physical ability. I love how she encourages me to push through discomfort. She taught me the difference between pain and discomfort. I have made remarkable progress because of her expertise, appropriate exercises, and encouragement. I’ve been seeing Katie now for a couple months and have seen tremendous improvement. I originally saw her for a pulled groin and nagging ankle issue, but once that was addressed we moved on to general mobility concerns and strengthening my supporting muscles to prevent injury. Katie is great at explaining movements and exercises and is very thorough with her follow ups and post session reports. I came to Katie after a month of lifting weights after a long lay off. I injured my chest lifting weights in 2015 and was experiencing a “wonky” shoulder during shoulder presses and even pull ups. I had a 1 hour session with Katie and conducted multiple exercises including a deep tissue massage of the injured pec muscle and felt so much better. I continued some of the movements/exercises at home over the next few weeks and was able to gain strength back in my chest, shoulder press evenly and enhance my pull ups. Had I not seen Katie, I would have not progressed in strength and would’ve injured myself more by attempting to push through what was holding me back. Thank you Katie!
