Dr. Marissa was my PT before she joined MUV. Of course, I followed her because she is a fantastic therapist and a a wonderful person. She is always concerned with how I am feeling and any issues I am having. She helped me avoid surgery when my shoulder was frozen and now she is helping me with neck issues that affect my whole spine. At MUV, Dr. Marissa has the Reformers to help with my PT AND I can attend Pilates class under the direction of my therapist! The classes are wonderful! Only 4 reformers, so we all get individual attention. It so nice to take an hour exercise class and know I am being assisted by a trainer who knows all my issues! My husband just started seeing Dr. Marissa for his spinal issues and I am so happy he is. At 60 and 64 years of age, Dr. Marissa is helping us both to live life to the fullest!!

MÜV and all of its wonderful people has done so much for me over the past year or two that it's hard to capture in a single review. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and a master of their craft. Their expertise is only matched by how much they care and listen. Without them, I never would have been properly diagnosed and got the surgery I needed for my hip, as well as the post-hip surgery rehab with them that got me back golfing in 6 months time.

I was recently referred for physical therapy after my shoulder replacement surgery. A good friend raved about her results from PT with Erin at MUV, so that is where I chose to go for my rehab. Erin has been awesome! Thanks to her therapy regimen, at my 4 week recovery point I was ahead of schedule and achieving several of my 6 week mobilization goals. Erin has also been phenomenal in helping me to overcome my physical therapy/mental frustrations related an unanticipated post-op complication. Without a doubt, Erin clearly understands and implements in her program the body, mind, and spirit interconnections, all elements for my successful healing and recovery process. Thanks to her gentle pushing of me, and her support, I am well on the road to a successful recovery. Thank you Erin and MUV!

Happy, fun PT office with very professional doctors of PT. They utilize targeted therapy with Pilates to achieve personal goals. My experience is mostly with Marissa who is caring, knowledgeable and responsive. I also enjoyed working with Diego, Molly & Erin. Danielle, the office manager, makes sure all runs smoothly with a smile. I feel my immediate goals were met and I will return for any further PT needs in the future. Personally, I don’t think you could find a better PT group. Kat

I am a recently retired board certified Orthopedic Surgeon who required Physical Therapy after knee surgery. The care that I received at MUV Physical Therapy was outstanding. Dr. Mollie is an extremely knowledgeable Physical Therapist who practices her profession in a caring and effective manner. A great deal of focus and attention to the individual needs of the patient is clearly a priority at her clinic, and is much appreciated. I would recommend her and her clinic to any friend or family member in need of Physical Therapy enthusiastically!

I have the best care at MUV for scoliosis. Dr. Mollie has great knowledge and ability to explain things in a way that makes sense. Her treatment techniques and qualifications to use the Pilates Reformer for rehabilitation are excellent...I would not go anywhere else for my treatment.

Here is an update to my progress. Unfortunately, i stopped seeing Dr. Mollie in March 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the tremendous care she gave me for 6 months has allowed me to continue to progress. My surgeon told me it would be two full year until i was going to be as normal as i could be, however, i would have to work for each milestone. Starting my therapy within a month of surgery was the best thing i could have done. 3 months after surgery i could start putting weight on my foot. however, Dr Mollie kept working the motion in my ankle. gently but firmly at first. and then when i could start putting weight on my leg she really worked me. She encouraged me to walk on sand and uneven ground and that was really uncomfortable. However, fast forward almost 11 months, i am walking on uneven ground almost every day and have more motion each time. It's still not like it was before, but improvement every day! And although i wanted to be riding my bike by January (ha ha ha), i did it in May and it felt great (but boy was i winded)! Need a therapist who will help you heal and improve? Go to MUV! Original Post about Dec 2019 I was never a believer in Physical Therapy, then i had an accident a year ago and PT helped me considerably to get my life back to normal. This year, I had ANOTHER accident (shattered the bottom of my leg and had to have surgery) and I needed PT again. This time, however, it required an upgraded service. My doctor found MUV and i started PT 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks out of surgery, the mobility of my ankle and foot was almost nil. The pain was intense and I basically had a club foot. Dr. Mollie started working my foot with intense massages and breaking down the tightness and scar tissue that had developed. She prescribed me exercises that were appropriate for my recovery and pain level. And each following appointment, i could see the incredible improvements. its now 2 months after surgery and my surgeon is pleased with my progress. He even said i could start putting partial weight on my leg (originally he told me 3 months). I am also now riding a non-resistance bicycle at my appointments that i also thought would be at the 3 month mark. My at rest pain is now gone due to the healing. But my ankle and foot still have a ways to go. However, I am so much further along due to the excellent care and direction Dr. Mollie is providing me. Don't think PT is a pain free massage, however. I get worked every session. I can take pain pretty well, but I have to bite the pillow a few times as she stretches what doesn't want to be stretched. No Pain No Gain!! I'll update my review once i can start walking again because i know there is more to go. But if you are looking for a knowledgeable team who provided incredible personal care, go visit MUV Physical Therapy in Carlsbad. by the way, the photos are what they are dealing with!!
