Mel is an amazing speech therapist and it was a pleasure to learn under her guidance. She has extensive skills in all areas of acute care treatment for adults. Everything she did had an evidence-based backing and I saw her deliver care in a professional and kind manner. She is well respected by the medical staff that she works with, which made it easy for her recommendations to be carried out swiftly and for her patients to receive the best care possible. I would highly recommend her as a speech therapist for adults and geriatrics.

Mel and her team are dedicated professionals who have helped many of my extended family members and friends' children from birth to adulthood with communication and swallowing. I cannot recommend Melissa Peters and her practice enough! I am a speech pathologist myself, but when it came time to gain assistance for my baby's oral motor difficulties...this was out of my wheelhouse. She not only provided me with the tools, resources, and education I needed for my baby to improve her feeding/latching abilities. Not to mention she has given great guidance for my somewhat picky eater toddler. She has an extensive education and experience ranging from treating/evaluating beginning to end of life patients/clients. It is rare to find a clinician who is up to date with evidence based practice along with the resources to support it!
