Mario and Janise are THE BEST. I came to them to rehab two separate surgeries on my foot and knee - and their expertise got me back into form ahead of schedule. They are patient, kind, fun to be around, and incredibly smart about human anatomy and cause and effect. I have seen five or six other physical therapists throughout my life for various physical issues and they were all wastes of time. But Movement Medicine actually knows what they are doing and I am so grateful that they got me back on my feet - literally! It would be impossible to overstate how wonderful and amazing they are. Thank you, Mario and Janise! I'm a client for life. 💪

I have tried many physical therapies and many locations, but this location is the best. Starting from the first day I received positive results in my pain. Mario is super experienced and the best in the industry. I’ve tried many different therapists, but he did magic and from first session, I felt huge improvement. I called my insurance company and made sure that they are picking this location. Very friendly staff, super clean and experienced therapists.

My daughter was seeing Janice and Mario because she had severe scoliosis. Even after a few sessions, I can see significant improvements. They are very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and encouraging to my daughter. I am very happy with our experience. If you are looking for a place where you are not just a number but can help you get better, the Movement Medicine PT and Wellness is the place for you. I highly recommend it.

Movement Medicine has literally fixed me. I had been a runner for many years and heavily depended on it for my physical and mental health. I was recently diagnosed with lupus and have joint issues as well as knee problems. My doctors were not optimistic about being able to run again which was devastating to hear. I also work a very physical job as a flight attendant so my livelihood was also at risk. My first day of physical therapy Janise did a full assessment and knew everything about my condition. She was really thorough and explained what was happening with my body. She also said that I WOULD be able to run again. She was the only one who gave me a glimmer of hope when I really needed it. The whole team at Movement Medicine is amazing. They all know exactly what they are doing and are so kind and personable. Not all of it is exercise. Often I’m getting massaged, ultra sounded, taped, pulled, pushed and other fancy science stuff I don’t know the name of. They’ve dangled me from ropes and suspended me above treadmills to run with decreased weight for less impact. For that they even provide a neat pair of hoisting shorts to wear that are… not cute, but effective. They also did exercises that simulate my job so I can be stronger and prevent injuries. I’ve worked with the whole team, Janise, Brian, Denise, Anna and Mario. Mario especially has gotten me up and running. He is also a runner with multiple races under his belt. Not to mention extensive knowledge on the history of Mariah Carey. Or was it Whitney Houston? I can’t remember. Just ask him, he’ll tell you. They also let me bring my dog, Greg, in for emotional support. I’m now back working, and slowly running again. I feel 100% better, no more pain. I will miss them all very much. Also shout out to Mabel and Melanie who were always quick to respond when I needed to reschedule or cancel. If and when I ever need physical therapy again I won’t go anywhere else but Movement Medicine.

Janice and Mario are fantastic PTs who are very friendly and knowledgable as well. I am a very curious person so I would ask questions on form and what muscles it is working, they would respond back with enthusiastic explanations and even showing on a skeleton if I am confused. I would highly recommend them! They also have that personal touch, asking about my work and following up with things in my personal life anytime I see them.

I've known Janis for quite some time now. I can honestly say she is one of the most knowledgeable people I have come across. She is patient and detailed in creating a program that will both strengthen and relieve whatever your focuses are. She listens to her patients while also challenging them to improve further than they may think they are capable of . Working with her has given me great lasting results! I highly recommend all consider visiting Movement Physical Therapy. You will be glad you did!

I highly recommend Movement Medicine PT if you're looking for physical therapists that care about your health and improvement. I've been coming here off and on for the last year as I've been searching for the correct diagnoses for my neck, back, and general joint point. Janise, Mario, and Denise have all been great about adjusting my workout plan as new information has been uncovered. I also appreciate their consideration of my pain, adjusting the day's workout to account for days where my neck or shoulder are particularly stiff and painful. I also love that they're generous with sharing information on my condition so that I feel informed and equipped to manage my symptoms. They also provide me with exercises I can do at home so that I can foster sustainable habits on my own. All of their help and support has gotten me to a place where I'm experiencing much less pain on a daily basis and I have the confidence to workout on my own without injuring myself or aggravating my condition. Definitely check them out, you won't regret it!
