Movement for Life Physical Therapy

Movement for Life has a top of the line facility with a wide variety of equipment and treatments. There is an upbeat attitude with targeted exercises and treatments that are effective. Treatment success is being constantly evaluated and open communication is encouraged with the clients. My therapist, Megan, is wonderful! I look forward to going to appointments and feel stronger.

I came to Movement for Life with a problem that had been diagnosed by my doctor as likely arthritis, but worth physical therapy. The therapist quickly confirmed the diagnosis and set reasonable goals for how treatment and exercises could improve the situation even if it cannot be cured with these tools. I attended six sessions, learned the stretching and other exercises and made solid improvement, which I can continue through performing the exercises at home. Everyone I worked with was professional and a pleasure to work with.

This is my second round with Movement for Life PT and I cannot say enough positive things about them. From the moment one walks in the door and talks with the Essie at the front desk, to the competent physical therapists who all root for you, and the PT assistants who help in numerous ways, you will find yourself surrounded by kind, smart, helpful and caring people. I always leave feeling strong, cared for, and confident of a full recovery!

All the staff are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I’ve been treated for two issues. One is 100% improved; the second is well on the way. I can’t say enough positive things about the excellent care I’ve received and the friendly, immaculate, well equipped, and fun atmosphere.

Movement for Life Physical Therapy has been an amazing part of my recovery from surgery repair my ankle broken in two places. I have progressed quickly with their support. The exercise portal allows me to easily work on my own. Everyone is friendly, supportive and welcoming. Jake is caring, patient and super knowledgable and really works with my specific issues. I would not have recovered as well without him.

Had several weeks of therapy at this clinic to address a painful hip and lower back. The exercises prescribed by my PT - a. mix of stretching and strengthening exercises which were carefully calibrated to my level of endurance and comfort - in the end resulted in a substantial decrease in the amount of pain and discomfort I had been experiencing at the beginning.I was very pleased as impressed with the professionalism and. personal attention I received from different therapists at this clinic.

Jake and the supportive staff at Movement for Life on Merrimon have made my life so much better. I’m in my 70’s, so a bunch of physical challenges pop up, and Jake has always known how to approach a variety of ailments with a calm, personable, and effective demeanor. Colin is an excellent physical therapist. He is professional knowledgeable experienced and gentle. He is also very nice. I have made so much progress since I started working with him post knee replacement. He is the very best. The whole staff here is excellent. The facility is very clean and equipped well.
